A very accurate, easily read instrument specifically designed for incubators. The range is 90o to 104o and it is 10 times more accurate than most digital thermometers. It reads to 0.01oC with an accuracy of +/- 0.1oC. Switchable between oF and oC. Battery life is about 8 months in continuous use.

A must have for hatching eggs!
This thing is amazing when it comes to hatching eggs, A MUST have if you do large batches. Allow your incubator to "set" before you tinker with the heat. Very accurate and worth the money

horrible thermometer
Not a good thermometer I only put 5 stars because it will be more up the list so more people can see what I have to say I have a perfectly good thermometer and it stays at 99 degree and I am hatching 6 chicken eggs then I was told that that thermometer is crap and they told me to bye this one so I naught it right away then I candles my eggs macking sure they were still alive they were perfectly fine but then once I got this spot chick the numbers were al over the place it was saying it was 110 degrees when my other one was at 99 and I was gone he whole day so if the eggs were at 110 degrees I would have scrambled eggs by now but I checked they they were fine moving around inside the eggs doing perfect I do not recommend this thermometer I hive it a zero star rating

Lasted 3 days.
This was great, for 3 days. Quit working after 3 days. Logged into Amazon to do a return and was met with a message that said this item is not eligible for return. I was so careful with it after reading reviews it was fragile but nope, still konked out after three days and probably doing temp checks about 10 times. Pretty expensive for a 3 day thermometer.

Compact, accurate thermometer
I have used this thermometer before, but had lost mine. It is compact and I have found it to be very accurate. Can't complain about the cost, only how much it cost to ship it. It could have been shipped a cheaper way, as I did not need it so quickly.

Two Stars
Does not seem any more accurate than the less expensive ones....I was a little disappointed

Excellent!!!!!!!!!!
I struggled with finding an accurate incubator thermometer.I tried the dual temp/humidity Accurite gauge sold at Fleet Farm for $9.99, and it's pretty good, but only reads in whole degrees. Then I tried IncuTherm+ from Incubator Warehouse for about $20.00 and had trouble with it reading accurately due to positioning. The temperatrue varies depending on how it is positioned and I couldn't seem to get that right. So my solutions was to have one of each in each incubator, but they sometimes were 1-2 degrees or more apart and I didn't know which one was right. Then I bought this device. I now incubate with confidence!!! I don't keep it on and in use at all times only because it doesn't also give me humidity. I use it to periodically check the accuracy of my other temperature gauges and I really trust it to keep my incubators on track.

take a chance
very accurate but not sure about the calibration, my old thermometer read 9 degrees warmer which led me to believe that that was the reason for poor hatches with this one I have had 0 zero hatch. Has to be poor calibration, even though it is off it needs away to recalibrate at home.???

Nice egg hatching thermometer, wish it could calibrate
This thermometer is said to be the most accurate on the market. My poultry group recommends it, so I bought one for my last batch of hatching chicken eggs. I felt that the price was fair for this type of instrument. I am not sure how accurate it was, since none of my four thermometers ever agreed on actual temperature. It can't be calibrated with the ice or the boiling water methods. To check it, they recommend taking your body temperature with it. The only problem is, there is no guarantee that your home thermometer is accurate either. It seems like a good instrument but I wish it had a better method of calibration.
