Silpat 11-5/8x16-1/2 - Silpat Non Stick Silicone Baking Mat

My ex-mother in law used her silpats at her Bed and Breakfast. Needless to say, breakfast had to be on time and yummy. She didn't have time to burn anything! It always made her mornings a lot simpler. That was 15 years ago and I will never go without one. I bought one for my sister in law last year. A family member thought it was a cutting mat. Unfortunately it didn't hold up to being used as one. I bought her a new one this Christmas and she was so happy to have one back in the kitchen again.

If you haven't cooked with a Silpat, you should start. Makes removing baked goods so easy. We bought our first years ago and have replaced them as needed; however, they last an extremely long time.

This mat is so versatile, I simply love it! The heat distribution is perfect and it is very easy to clean.

I have owned two sets of real Demarle silpats in 25 years, one set purchased through a representative, and one from a store. The silpats I received today from Sasa, all four of these came with flaws: edges missing silicone seals, holes between the fibers, uneven silicone application making fibers almost poke through, one had what looked like it had been sandpapered in one section. Glad I inspected them! I looked at one, saw a problem, and thought oh, well, I'll just return it. But then all four. Such a disappointment. Ordered Amazon brand mats to see if they have better QC. Didn't know I'd be going through this at the height of baking season.

We have had one of these Silpats for years and love it. With holiday baking around the corner we decided to buy a second to facilitate cookie baking. Great product. Highly recommend.

This isn't something new we have use them and like the products. Would order it again!!!!

Exactly as described

Of the 2 I bought, o is fine, the other one’s hard plastic box packaging for the baking sheet is broken when I got it. So the edge of the baking sheet broken in places as well. Quality not good. Not durable. Bag packaging. Broken products. Impossible to contact the seller. General heat resistance, and heat distribution. But much more expensive than others. Would not recommend.
