As described and a ton of fun
Came in perfect condition and the game is a ton of fun. It’s a lot like old ps2 games in the way the game works and plays. If you enjoyed games like jaws unleashed then this game is for you. I saw other reviews saying their case was damaged but mine came in great shape.

absolutely gorgeous
I just received this game this afternoon. so my inputs will be a bit limited until I get farther into the game.So far though, I'm not bored. It's just so much fun to swim around and explore the environment right now. The only downside is that all the other predators are so powerful, and my shark actually got killed by an alligator while trying to make it back to home...the alligator for some bizarre reason wouldn't stop chasing me.The game crashed at one point, but so far the game has otherwise been running solid. For $33 on sale right now for ps4, this's something hard to pass up for a new title. I've read that it doesn't have alot of depth, but right now, I don't need it...like I said, it's just fun to relax, have a shark swim around and eat everything in sight, and enjoy the beautiful visuals. It's probably not the most accurate depiction of what is underwater, but hey, you're playing as a man-eating shark, so creative license is allowed here without getting too ridiculous. It's almost a missed opportunity for the dev to have the game randomly have the shark swim around within the unlocked environments, like a "fish tank mode" just to have something to watch on screen while doing chores and whatnot.I will update this review later as I progress.

Very different but very very fun
I was a bit skeptical about this game but it was only $40 listed on the PSN store. I decided to ask around when the value of the game as right now it's a one player game with a story mode which I like those games a lot. Some people are saying this game was worth $20 for sure or definitely around the $30 mark. So I decided to wait and buy off Amazon 4:30 and it's been a blast it's summertime it's hot Jaws sharks fun it's a straight I'm 3rd through it and I'm having a lot of fun it's a touch repetitive but it's still really really cool very pretty runs gray just a really cool game, the best shark game of ever played by far and totally worth the money. I've heard rumors of DLC coming out for it in the future but nothing confirmed. The game has a great amount of potential if you can get it for 30 or less do it it's worth it if you're in the RPG crazy stuff get 40 great games support small Indie companies tripwire didn't break with this

Quite possibly the greatest Shark rpg ever made!
Quite possibly the greatest Shark rpg ever made! I can’t recall the last time I played a shark game this good and fun. I realize the shark simulator market has been saturated with shark rpgs lately. But if you can only buy one shark game this month, make sure it’s Maneater. The story is deep and thought provoking. You truly feel the anguish of the baby shark as her mother dies to that bastard Scaly Pete. I cannot wait until Daniel Day Lewis plays the Mega in the inevitable movie adaptation. Final score is 6.7 out of 5!!!!

Consume All Humans!
I have somewhat low standards when it comes to video games; I don't want too much of a challenge and I enjoy the story or world of the game more than I do the advanced mechanics or illustrious graphics. Not saying MANEATER doesn't have those but it's certainly no chump of a game either. Where it lacks in diversity it makes up for in charm. Chris Parnell's narration (From Archer, 30 Rock, etc.) is worth the game alone, and it makes seeking out all the landmarks and collectibles even better. PLUS there so many Easter eggs throughout the map, like references to Arrested Development, Stephen King's IT, Rick & Morty, Planet of the Apes, and more. It's clear the developers had a lot of fun with it and filling the world with as many neat details as possible. This game calls to mind the DESTROY ALL HUMANS! games in the same vein of constant, mindless carnage set against a dark sense of humor. I played through and got to 100% in about a week and a half's worth of time, but I genuinely enjoyed every bit!

This game is stupid, but not in the bad way, but stupid in a good way
Ok this game is just plain stupid, but in a good way. It stupid like the movies "Killer Clowns from Outer Space" and "Sharknado" It the kind of stupid that you really will enjoy. You swim around eating everything you can see. sea life, or better yet Humans, eat all the humans. The Story is entertaining at the least, not deep but it will make you laugh. Over all a great game and I would highly recommend, it a fun way to spend some time, you will leave having enjoyed yourself fully.I am a bit sadistic so sometimes I would ask my echo to play Man Eater by Holen Oats while playing the game, just makes it just that bit more fun.THe controls do take some getting use to, but once you do you will have a major blast.

Almost perfectly mindless fun that tries to shoehorn in an ideology
but doesn’t quite manage it. I wonder if they wanted it to sink in through osmosis, because when I’m playing this one, my brain is switched completely off. Chomping and leveling and exploring is what you’re going to do a lot of, so be prepared. Eating people as they scream bloody murder in their boats is lots of fun. Controls are a tiny bit fiddly which is annoying when you want to eat someone sunning themselves on the beach, but it’s so bright, so colorful, and so weird that you should give it a try anyhow. Armoring the shark is fun, as is adding points to various skill trees.
