Great so far.
What a difference compared to my two Apple 27 in Thunderbolt displays! The matte screen, display uniformity and color gamut are noticeably better. I had some questions setting this up to run off a mid-2011 Mac Mini. It is worth thinking through how you will setup things. The EIZO CG277 comes with quite a few cables (not a HDMI though). I ended up having to call EIZO tech support to figure out how to still use my Thunderbolt devices, one of the 27 Thunderbolt displays, and the EIZO. EIZO Tech Support was awesome! What a relief to actually talk to knowledgeable experts! Here is how I was able to use the EIZO CG277 and an Apple 27 in Thunderbolt display together: I connected all my Thunderbolt devices to the one Thunderbolt port on my Mac Mini. I then connected the EIZO CG277 to the Mac Mini with an HDMI cable. At first I was only able to get 1080p on the CG277. EIZO Tech Support walked me through how to use the menu on the CG277 to set the input to be "PC" instead of "Video", and then to turn my refresh rate from 60 Hz to 30 Hz for the CG277. I could then achieve the full resolution of the EIZO at 2560 x 1440. 30 Hz refresh rate is fine for my purposes of photography post processing. ..Newer Mac Mini's have two Thunderbolt ports, so in this case you could use the supplied PM200 cable that comes with the CG277 to connect.Performance wise I am very impressed with the EIZO CG277 ! For example, while doing some sharpening in Lightroom I am finally able to really fine tune things better. This is probably just a function of using a matte display now instead of the glossy Apple displays.I look forward to integrating the EIZO into my full post-processing and printing workflow. I will update this review as I spend more time with it. So far I am very happy with it.The computer I am using it with is:Mid 2011, 2 GHz Intel core i7, 16 GB RAMGraphics card: Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MBOS X El Capitan.

There's a robot in my Eizo
I'm a digital artist, draw all the time, sleep on my computer desk, so it's very important to have a great monitor. This monitor is amazing, the color accuracy is just what I was looking for, couldn't be happier!side note - I love the little robot arm that swings out when the monitor is self-calibrating. Nice to have a robot around to help you out.

The CG277 is a joy to ease
I have to cull and edit thousands of photos. The CG277 is a joy to ease, easy on the eyes, and marries up well with my Canon printer.

CG277 The best monitor I have ever owned
I am a professional head shot and portfolio photographer working with many well know actors and models in LA. Skin tones and colors are of most importance to me. In the past I had been using Lacie 321 and 324i monitors which are very good. I compared both monitors side by side for a week with hundreds of images from all of my cameras. I am amazed how much more accurate the colors were on the Eizo. The black levels and highlights also completely blew the Lacies away. In my studio I always shoot with a grey card, color checker and use a light meter. I also edit in an 18% grey room with proper ambient lighting. My cameras are Hasselblad 500c film, Nikon D3s and D800, Fuji Xpro1, Leica M9. This is the best monitor I have ever used in 30 years period. The CG277 is so easy on the eyes which is also a huge plus as I spend a minimum of 4 hours a day editing. I also did a side by side comparison with this monitor to the Eizo CS270 monitor which is less than half the price of the CG277. They both use the same panels but the CG277 has a better anti glare finish and a built in calibrator. The reasons I went with the CG277 are the built in calibrator was more accurate than the external Spyder calibrator and the the black levels were noticeably better. Also the CG277 in a dark room showed significantly less light bleed both on and off axis.
