Tamper Base Convex Diameter 58mm stainless steel with 8mm thread compatible with all our Handles

Using this to replace the stock breville double boiler tamper and it's really much better than the stock tamper. Just a very solid feel. Keep in mind this is just the tamper base and the handle is sold separately. One thing to keep in mind is it might be worth removing rubber washer that comes with it, it really makes it feel much more solid and precise.

Totally a decent tamper. For the price you couldn’t really ask for more. A little lighter feeling that I was expecting, but the acrylic handle that I bought with it might have had something to do with it. So all and all I’d pay another $5 if it was 10-15% heavier but that’s just me. Four stars.

I bought this tamper base to replace the cheap, flimsy, plastic tamper included with my espresso machine. Also, a walnut handle was purchased to match the base and it compliments it quite well. The base has a nice weight to it and is high quality. This tamper base is an exponential improvement over the original tamper.side note; The American curve is almost not noticeable so if you want a substantial convex base then buy the Euro curve base instead.

Bought this as a two part set when I was experimenting with tampers and this works great and is my favorite.
