Q: Chest size seems totally unrealistic. Im 43 inches in the chest and thats a small??? Im normally large or extra large

I stupidly ignored all the perfectly good answers and ordered XL - thinking it would run way smaller because of experience with loads of high value, low cost Chinese biking gear and Uniqlo - and I should have paid attention. I'm about 5'9" - broad chest, shoulders, reasonably trim and fit for my age, 33 inch waist, my chest and neck vary wildly, but XL was just too wide at the shoulders. I looked like Alexis Carrington trying to upstage Krystle at the country club ball. Or like Rick Astley channeling David Byrne at Men's Wearhouse. I'm normally an L and as it turns out, should have been this time too.

i am 5ft 8in tall at 155lbs & my chest is 37inches. I bought 3 of these jackets. The 1st jacket was XL (very large on me with too much room) The 2nd jacket was size L (a much better fit but still plenty of room for layering), The 3rd jacket is size M (fits perfect on me with a little room for layering-overall it is a snug fit which I like) Hope this helps you
