I'll start this review by saying that I did NOT buy this set for the socks - that is why I'm giving it a four star review instead of a one star review. I'll mention the elephant in the room first - if you are buying this set for the socks, don't. I ordered a size 10-12 for my 11 year old son and I think the pants themselves will fit. The socks, well, see the picture. He wears a size 7 mens shoe. The socks are not the size of my normal size hand...and they don't stretch much, if at all. I read reviews before I purchased and read about the small socks but small is an understatement. I plan on giving the socks to my three year old nephew in hopes that they will fit him and keep the pants for my son. The pants are great, comfy material and I'd say the size is right. I think my son will love them. Jut don't get excited for the socks and you won't be disappointed.

My 6 year old twins love them. Here is how the M 6/8 fit my son who is 48 inches and 56 pounds and daughter who is 47.5 inches and 46 pounds.

I bought these for my 10.5 year old son. He is 4'8" tall and about 74 lbs. He is thin and athletically built. These fit him perfectly. He loves them. The material is a very soft, brushed fleece. I will say that they could be a little longer in length. If. you son or daughter is taller than my son, they will start to look short unless they have short legs. One more inch in length would have been perfect. The waist area is stretchy so there is plenty of give there. I would say these are more a size 10 then a 12.

I'm only 5'4" so men's small lounge/pajama pants are way too long for me. I grabbed these to use as loungewear and they fit really well. They are loose fitting but not baggy and the legs are a perfect length for me. Good quality and soft as well.

Not a great selection when it comes to size. 6/8 as every parent knows a 6 year old is much smaller than an 8 year old. My 6 year old still wears them but mainly because he like to pull them up to hisarm pours and do what he calls the high pants dance.

Sending them back because I bought them too small. Son is 13 yrs. old and a review mentioned they run big. But they don't. He is small but stocky and would fit 2 sizes larger (if they offer it in that size.) But I have to say they are truly soft fleece, not too hot., a nice weight for California. Can't say how they'd hold up in the dryer (I'd set on warm/cool dry though) but definitely get a size larger.

The pants fit really well and appear to be decent quality. My boys love them. The socks, on the other hand, left a trail of lint all through my house in the first 10 minutes they were worn. We had prewashed everything, the socks are just not well made.

Excellent quality, very soft, have washed several times, no fading or shrinking. My boys love them. Their older sister try’s to steal them! Great for really petite ladies too!

These are beautiful pj pants and socks. Fit a little bit larger than a regular 8-10. But they are well worth the money and beautifully made. So soft

The quality was great but the legs were quite a bit shorter than my sons other jammies of the same size.

My 12 year old loved these paint. Super soft and fit perfect. It took a wile to receive them in the mail but would buy again

The product was nice quality but wayyy too big. I returned them and was promised reimbursement of up to 20.00 shipping but only got $6.55 of the 20.00 I paid. Irritating! I’m done purchasing on Amazon for a while!
