The good news is that I can confirm the IPX6 rating. I had one of them around my neck on a motorcycle through an hour of heavy rain. When I arrived, it worked just fine. Getting 2 for tenner is certainly value for money.However, you get what you pay for and the downsides are: the quality is quite flimsy. I dropped one and had to bend the insides back into shape - but it worked ... mainly because of the flimsiness. The other issue is that the headband is not very strong. That is actually an advantage for me since I am carrying it around my neck on top of the motorcycle gear. If you intend to wear it on your forehead as designed ... the elastic strap might wear out quickly.

Good torches these. Very bright on full mode, just right for in a tent on dim mode...and red mode excellent if you are looking at the stars and don't want to keep resetting your night vision.

Purchased this for a dog walking event in a dark woodland area. Bonus it was a pack of two. Only used one so far but I would recommend. Great value for money. Several light options. White on , bright, flashing, red flashing. Comfy and fully adjustable headband and also swivel joint on the actual light piece. I will also use this for cycling too.

I bought these head torches for a trip to Lapland for the red light option. The red light worked well when finding our way around a forest clearing when looking out for the Northern lights. The red light enabled our eyes to adjust very quickly to the night sky and not the usual 20 mins it takes with white light.All in all very good value for the money.

I bought these torches specifically for the red light function to use when looking at animals. However, it isn't as great a feature as I hoped. It's good for the animals no doubt, but provides no light at all for the user. The regular torch like though is very good and overall they're worth the money.

They are bright and shiny, have a red function which is good and I can now see to pick up poop. So I and as happy as a person picking up poop! And the bonus is I get a spare because they are so cheap!

Bought on behalf of friend, works in heavy construction. He loves them, keeps the spare in his glovebox. Using this he says can see clearer and leaves him two hands to do his job. He fully recommend them, 2 for 1, what’s not to like.

The torch is easy to use, even with gloves on, and so far has worked well. The red light function has proven useful for night time photography.
