National Artcraft5" x 7" Replacement Picture Frame Easel Back for Frames Up to 1" Thick

First let me say there is nothing wrong with the construction or quality of this product. The problem is that it is only appropriate for a "tile" application. It is not well-suited for use with a frame. Why? The easel "stand" does not extend past the edge of the back. It is the same length as the back. So....if you use this with a frame wider than approximately 1/2 inch, the picture will not stand properly, because the easel is too short. The picture will lean back to far. For my application, I have frames that are nearly 1.5 inches wide. With a frame this wide, the easel stand provided by this back is useless.

I have started making my own picture frames. The quality of the product is good, thick board, well made. They are made for thin frames, not the thicker and wider frames that I make. Therefore, the "kick stand", the portion that holds up the frame while sitting on a table, is not long enough to support a frame thicker or wider frame. This review also pertains to the 4X6" made by the same company.

Only had one hanger for wall display not two as shown. Otherwise stands perfectly for desk display. Backing very sturdy and fits fine in the frame. Very satisfied with purchase!

I build a lot of picture frames and got tired of making my own backs. You can't beat the price and the quality for what they are used for. I will buy again.

To replace old one.

I had a hard time finding replacement photo frame backs and decided to try a box of these. Good quality, medium -weight cardboard backing. Style worked as a replacement for a number of stretched out picture frames. I was able to use a paper cutter to custom cut a couple of backs with no problem.

I'm using it not as intended. Created my own jewelry displays for shows with these as the backing. Works great.
