Rockville Dual 12” 2000 Watt 3-Way 8-Ohm Passive DJ/Pro Audio PA Speaker (RSG12.2)

I purchased 2 of these for 149 dollars each and i'm very happy with them.These speakers bump hard,loud and clear using the Rockville RPA16 Amp i have hooked up to my Yamaha RX-V685 receiver.At first i had them connected directly to my receiver using a Speakon to Banana plug cable and it was alright,no complaints,but to make these truly come alive i got myself an amp.Once these have proper power going into them they rock the place.The woofers put out thumping bass,the tweeters and horn get insanely loud but still maintain clarity even when you crank things up.Build quality,very good.Well made,solid.No dents or damage of any kind and everything works as it should.I strongly recommend these speakers,they're excellent.

Sounds great. Good bargain I play uptight bass, banjo, and vocals with this unit. It’s been really good.

Delivered today with some damage to the create. Performance 3 stars cause unless mid not sold hit. But as mid they killing it. Buy the 15.4 it’s probably one the best speakers they have. But my 8”s hit harder then these. Great Value. But they just ok but don’t use as subs they struggle to keep up at 150 watt per channel. 3 stars and not recommended only if looking for cheap setup or a ok sound.

I bought these speakers almost a year ago, putting 3,000 watts to a pair of them and they definitely are LOUD ... BUT theres a few drawbacks to them too. For one, the subwoofers really dont like 20hz and below, but not too many subs do.The biggest problem with these speakers is the speaker cabinet themselves, NOT the subs. Because the sub woofers were not sealed separately from the horns and tweeters, at higher volumes the horns and tweeters vibrate causing a distortion sound, as well as the handles on the box vibrate at higher volumes. Dont get me wrong, I do love these speakers but if you plan on pushing these speakers, just be aware of the above mentioned issues is all. I've thrown block parties with these speakers, and you could clearly hear the words mids and highs 3 blocks away, but tune down the bass so you dont get the distortion

This thing is amazing, I normally don't write reviews at all but this thing cut through the mix with ease and the bluetooth/sd/usb works awesome too. I normally use it as a stereo when im not using it with a band or to record, trust me you want this if you need a PA, its very very loud
