I bought these to replace plastic microwaveable plates that melted in the microwave. These have been a great purchase. They are light weight like plastic but feel stronger. They wash well and microwave well with out any problems (I have a strong microwave). I have even reheated lasagna on these plates and they did not stain from the red sauce. I like that they are not made from plastics and chemicals. I have also purchased the bowls with the same great results.

These are good plates. They smelled a bit when they first arrive (probably some food-grade coating to prevent problems during shipping), but it washed off with dish soap and water. The plates are well-made and of course hypo-allergenic. Recommended for those who don't want breakable (i.e. ceramic), paper, or plastic-based plates.If you do buy these, when cleaning, don't use an abrasive pad to clean them, such as the scouring side of a Scotch pad. This can damage the plates. Use the sponge surface or a washcloth.Be aware that these plates may eventually become damanged (i.e. warping small bubbling) if they're in running microwaves for much longer than one minute at a time. This doesn't seem to happen for times of one minute or less, and putting a plate cover/lid on top (to absorbe some of the microwave's output) also helps.

I purchased these to take on my travel assignments. They're easy to pack, easy to clean, they store well, I usually clean them and pack them right back into the little box they came in. They serve as dual purpose for me. I use them for my cereal (oatmeal/farina) and also as a small plate, for meat and vegetables or salad, that way I don't have to have extra plates/bowls to store.

I needed new everyday dishes that were better looking than the plastic plates I was using that were getting melted spots and knife scrapes. My stoneware set are too heavy; these are light weight and very durable. These are a nice size, better looking than the multi colored plastic plates we were using and are microwavable. I love them.

I am loving these plates! I was initially worried that the lightness would make them feel cheap, but I was totally wrong. They are everything they promise to be - incredibly durable, easy to wash, and light weight - each in the best way possible. The weight in combination with the rim is great for people with arthritis or limited hand mobility.I enjoy finding low effort ways to be more sustainable and this feels like an easy change. Plan on buying a whole set of these.

I like the size and the thickness of the saucers. They are attractiveness and durability of them. They are almost bowl-like so I cut up the dog food into cubes and she eats it without sticking her snout into a deep bowl and gets her face all dirty.

Very easy to clean. Soak it in water and food rinses off in a minute. It is light weight, durable, and very attractive. Does not look like cheap plastic. Haven’t used any scratchy things on it, so have no information for that. Use it twice a day for pet food and it looks as good as new.

Smaller than I thought it still good size and perfect. It has two textures and I’m just satisfied .
