I knew NOTHING of a community paramedic or "Mobile Integrated Health." Within the first few chapters, your mind will drift... a lot... thinking of all the possibilities for your organization. The clincher was the opportunity to go and visit with Matt and all of the folks at MedStar that are attached to MIH. They are incredibly gracious hosts who are overflowing with enthusiasm and pride in their program; and are eager in equal, or maybe greater, measure to share their knowledge and experience.

Very good, laid out well. Super informative. Of course this is only one companies angle and experience but they do throw in some statistics and examples from other places experiences so I liked that as well. I am in a very rural area where this would be much needed but the monetary resources are difficult, so I took what I could get from this book and imagined how it would work in our area. Currently discussing with local hospital to use on discharged patients.

The book was much smaller than it appears in photos. Kind of a let down for the price.

A great read! Right to the point...no fluff, all substance. If your organization is considering MIH/Community Paramedicine, it's a must for anyone in a leadership position or anyone who may be taking on a role in implementing a program.

Fast Shipping, as described

This book is packed with good info, but it is very very small! I expected more for the cost of $120+. Also note, this book is written for leadership and medical directors, not ground level community medics.

The first and still he best text about the emerging field of mobile integrated healthcare.
