I don't like to judge a book, or in this case a dvd by its cover. But in this case let's do so.The guy in the back has his bow strung reversed. He will damage his bow beyond repair if he would make a full draw. If you look at the woman you will see that she is still wearing a ring. Any Kyudo teacher will tell you to take that off as a wrong technique might cause the string to hook on the ring. The posture of the guy in the back is so bad it will give you injuries in time. Looking at the picture alone I count so many mistakes that I can only conclude that these guys are only out to take your money, not to give you meaningful instruction in Japanese archery.So please don't buy this dvd. You will hurt the material you are using and, even worse, hurt yourself. Please go to a proper kyudojo and get instruction from a good teacher or if that is not possible go to site of the international Kyudo Federation (IKYF).

Worthless! An Brazilian chicka decides to "invent" her own way to mis-use the Japanese bow... utterly incompetent, wrong in every way. They ought to have been honest and said " we made up something silly using a fiberglass copy of a Japanese bow", instead they claim it is a "Kyudo" course, which is so far from the truth. Don't buy stuff from these liars, if you are interested in Kyudo go to the source: the International Kyudo Federation based in Japan.

To be honest, I have not seen the DVD, but the man pictured on the cover cannot be a real Kyudo teacher. Actually, he probably do not practice Kyudo at all.The bow was setup REVERSED!! The string is on the wrong side and the bow is being drawn at the opposite direction!!

Surely this is total bullpoo but I'm still curious what is inside. :P Trying to guess how deep have they perverted Kyudo. Well at least chick is hot ^.^
