Trader Joe`s Wasabi Peas

The reason I eat wasabi peas is for it's horseradish type heat, great to clear up a stuffy nose. Was hoping that these would be really hot. Have purchased much hotter wasabi peas than this but they are hard to find. It's possible I didn't look hard enough and find a hotter wasabi pea. Can anyone with a strong tolerance for hot foods point out a wasabi pea that is hot please? These were simply not that hot. Have had about 30 of them now and maybe one out of 10 have a teasing heat. Wonder if these are returnable in exchange for something hotter? If you like a mild to med heat wasabi these are for you. The search continues.

I like these but they are overpriced and not as spicy as I had expected, they are not like other wasabi peas. They are still good in a pinch and I love having them delivered conveniently, but the price is a huge factor for me in not leaving a 5 star review.

....they are a bit to hot for my taste, some pieces actually burning my tongue! There are some that are not totally drenched with the offending agent, and they are really good. It is just hard to pick them out from the real burners.

I have had Wasabi peas before and loved them. I don't know what brand they were but, these were very, very hot.

Peas taste great. A little spendy for what you get though.

These Wasabi Peas were by far the worst ones I've ordered to date. These were actually ordered by a friend for me as a gift. What a disappointment. I Love Trader Joes Wasabi Peas Exclusively. Not only were these peas stale but the seller taped his own bar code over the exertion date. Is it legal to sell expired food?
