On the whole, a very good device
I've been a loyal Plantronics user for years, and found myself a bit lost when my last one was so very broken (Discovery 925). I spent quite a long time looking around, and finally settled on this as my replacement, as well as my first non-Plantronics bluetooth. All in all, I am pleased enough to recommend this bluetooth unit for anyone that prefers the in-the-ear type. For me, these seem to hang on better than others. Now, my husband, he can't stand them.First, the positives. I've had this for a few months now, and it sounds just as clear as when I first got it. I've had no complaints on the other end, which is very good, as I am not one of those with a voice that's heard far and wide.I've had to reset it a few times. When you first start it, the first thing it does is import the phone list from what it considers to be the primary device. From there, it announces callers for you, if your phone doesn't do that on its own. However, once it has paired with 2 devices it balks at a third (even if you had to do a factory reset on one of them), and then you have to do the reset. If you ever need to know, touch and hold the volume up, down and power buttons, and try to keep it close enough to your ear that you can hear when it says it's reset. That's it. It pairs up quite easily with every phone I've paired it with. There are quite a few accessories available for it. Different styled earbuds and so on. Since I like to change them out, I have been happier than usual on that score.Of the few negatives, the most important has to do with the ear loop stabilizer pieces. It fits in through a little piece of too-flexible rubber mounted on the back. Unfortunately, it split rather early on. I've been considering whether I might try gluing it. It's not fatal, but a stabilizing thing is nice to have over long periods of time.On the whole, I've been very happy with it and can easily recommend it.

Great wind reduction technology, not terrific range. See update note!
Final note: As wacky as BlueAnt is, I shouldn't be surprised they finally sent one of the models that is supposed to be as good as the one I returned through Amazon. But Amazon had me send everything that came with the unit, including the charger. When the replacement was received from BlueAnt today, it did not have a charger, nor was it in retail packaging. Note that when I first contacted them, they told me I had about 18 months left on my warranty, but if I had purchased it other than "New," such as factory reconditioned, they would not support it. So I assume whatever they sent me wasn't covered by the remainder of my original warranty, in addition to not being able to use it without a charger. I contacted BlueAnt and they said they don't replace chargers, and wouldn't anyway for mine I sent back since it wasn't defective. They told me to work it out with Amazon. Amazon customer service told me there was no way for them to contact the returns center and retrieve the charger, even though it had only been back to them about 9 days. They had charged me $6 for a "restocking fee" (even though the T1 isn't being restocked, according to BlueAnt), but Amazon refunded me the fee so I could apply it to a charger. This has been a bad experience, and I caution you not to buy BlueAnt items. They have been the worst manufacturer I have dealt with of the products I have purchased in the last ten or so years.----Last (?) notes: I have now lowered the rating to the bottom. I tried very hard to work with BlueAnt for 20 days, including numerous emails and phone calls. When you reach someone, if you do at all, they are nice, polite and optimistic. We even tried a "factory reset" which seemed to help for a day or two. Then, the audio was bad again and I contacted them for an exchange. But, their promises of replacing the unit and getting back with me have fell flat. I have wasted time waiting on them and did what was necessary by phone and email to finally get a person on the phone, just to have them say they'll keep looking into it. They offered me an inferior product (T2) to replace the better (should have been, anyway) T1. I saw customer reviews over the internet averaged less than good for the T2, but several other models were OK. I told BlueAnt I would accept either a same-model replacement, one of the other models I cited as being good, or a refund. They didn't reply to me a number of times. I finally called Amazon back, and bless them, they offered a refund. So now I have to replace the BlueAnt, and you can guess which manufacturer I will NOT be buying from!- - - - - -Updated information: After three months, the audio quality deteriorated. People complained about ups and downs in the volume. After several more months, I have decided to return it. I am currently communicating with BlueAnt, who says they will honor the warranty since it was purchased in a new condition. Provided all goes well, I will not update this again. I hope an exchange proves this was an exception and not the norm for the product, since I like the wind reduction on this model. I lowered my rating as a result of the poor performance for the last several months, but am keeping it at 3 stars in hopes of getting a better unit in exchange.-- -- -- --I'm using this as my primary headset, mostly because it works very well in windy conditions. It holds a charge long enough for several conversations (at least 1.5 hrs., but I haven't timed it beyond that). People tell me that they like the volume of audio from my other headsets better, however. I just make sure I have the volume on this one turned up all the way. I can hear them very well, so if any complaint, it just doesn't transmit my voice as well as some other headsets. Overall, for the price I paid, I'm satisfied and recommend it.

Excellent BlueAnt with Great Price
Love the earpiece and the features are excellent. Comes with simple instrustion booklet. It paired with my Note quickly and easily. It is great I love the phone commands. I can talk, text and listen to my music without actually being on my phone (looking and scrolling thru contacts, music, etc...). I picked the Alpine White to match my white Samsung Note.It comes with 2 ear hooks, 3 ear pieces and two inner ear pieces. I tried the small one first but it was not a snug fit. It never fell out but would slide alittle. I would have to adjust it every so often to ensure I was not going to drop it. So I tried the large one and perfect fit. It stays in place and I never have to adjust the position of the earpiece. As a bonus I received 1 white/clear silicon cover and 1 black silicon cover. I use the clear cover and when the earpiece is not charging the case has an insert to protect the port.I charged it the night I received it and I have not had to charge it since. I use it each day while driving and it works great. I can hear clearly and who I am talking with can hear me just as clear. Talk and standby times are great.I have tried to see how far I can go without holding my phone and I cant get very far. But my husband says we have several things that can cause interference. I am not so worried about not being able to walk around the house w/out my phone in hand.It is more important to me to be hands free in the car than in the house. Which I am able to do easily.Just power on earpiece and it says connected to phone then press button and say "phone commands".I have absolutely no complaints with my BlueAnt earpiece. And compared to others earpieces this one is priced perfectly.
