What more could you ask
My arthritis seemed to prevent me to pull on my socks. This item is such a help, just put the sock over the end, slide your foot in and pull with the handle. There is a rough patch on the back side to help your sock stay put on the under neath side while you,re pulling your sock on. Now I can put on my socks on in half the time. I also use this helper on my knee high hose. Works great!

Sock Aid - ease of use
The sock-aid is not very easy to use so my husband doesn't use it.

Great aid for putting on socks; long lasting, too
I LOVE this product. I needed help after my hip joint surgery. I bought a cheaper sock aid, but I went back and searched for this one. I wanted to get the same one I borrowed from a friend. The foam handles are easy on the hands. The cords are nylon so they don't wear out. I was even able to get my compression socks on with this sock aid. The only difficult part is getting the socks back off again. You'll have to order the sock eez removal aid for that, and it is great, too.

It's the cord
The sock piece itself is fine and just the width I wanted-better than both the standard and the 5" sizes. The cord, however, is too hard. There are other synthetic cords that are easier on the hands when pulling and the feet when sliding intothe aid. Also, the lengths to the handles are too long for most people. Personally, I prefer a continuous loop of cord to the handles- easier for me to retrieve the aid after each foot. Disabled users may have trouble untieing the knots to shorten and then cutting off the excess hard cord. I replaced mine with a softer cord from my previous aid and left off the handles. Useful cord can be purchased at any hardware store.

Did not work for a person who has hand problems and they wouldn't take it back!
