Tile cutter
My 1st time doing tile work....using any type of tile cutter. Like anything, took a little getting used to. Did a 90 degree backsplash of 3x6" tile, maybe 8-19 sq feet, with 4 outside edges. Large pieces cut perfectly, small, really narrow cuts were virtually impossible. Ultimately, Did those with a grinder & diamond blade in my circular saw, in a vice. I'm very happy with this cutter, & have 2nd kitchen wall planned, same tiles, other side of the room. Then....3 more kitchens to do for my daughters rentals. Am looking forward to fininsing my own kitchen, but not necessarily the small cuts. My wife thinks I'm a genius.

good product works well
It worked well made about 20 cuts some as small as 2 inches wide the whole lenth of a 12x12 tile cracked a few but was able to complete the task with no problems definitely worth price and will last a long time good product.

You get what you pay for, which is okay, here.
I needed to cut 5 bathroom shower tiles. I had no other tools for the job and no experience cutting tiles. This got the job done. Nippers, which I'm told make cutting straight lines across tiles difficult plus a scoring pencil would have cost as much.I gave it 4 stars because I found scoring a chore. It feels like it's begging for a larger cutting wheel. Since I'm new at this, I have no experience with other brands for comparison. I got this one because it was what was on the shelf at my local Home Depot. You should also be prepared to sacrifice a tile or 2 initially was you get to learn how it works. Old tile is great for practice. They don't have to be new.

These look like mini subway tiles with 12 rows
I did not buy this on amazon, bought at HD even cheaper. I used it for glass backsplash tiles which I also bought at HD. These look like mini subway tiles with 12 rows. This inexpensive device rocked. The part that breaks the tiles needs to be tightened down and raised before you scribe the tiles. You then loosen it up, apply pressure, perfect break every time. No need for a tile saw.
