Mobil Mobilgrease XHP 222 Special 14 oz Tube

Good thing I check the label! There are two kinds of Mobil grease, Mobilgrease XHP 222 and mobilegrease XHP 222 special. I ordered the mobilgrease XHP 222 special that they displayed on their amazon page for my bearings. The difference between the mobilegrease XHP 222 and the mobilgrease XHP 222 Special is that the special is Mobilgrease XHP 222 Special is an extreme pressure grease containing molybdenum disulphide that provides protection from wear under shock loads and fretting conditions. Mobilgrease XHP 222 Special is used in chassis components, clutch bearings, ball joints of suspension and steering systems in all kinds of passenger cars, trucks, farm tractors, contractor, construction, earth-moving and mobile equipment. It also finds application in king pins, U-joints, fifth wheels and bucket pins

Exactly what I needed and what is recommended for my upper control arms

Works on zerk, ball joints, mainly bought it for recommendations for JBA UCA ball joints. Only complaint is shipping took over 10 days

maybe i used it in the wrong application but i used it to lube lawnmower (zero turn) deck blade spindles and by the time i finished a small yard, roughly 10-15 mins i could smell something burning. I went back to look at the tube and it was completely liquified after sitting on my bench in the garage for a day, approx 90F. it just leaked out all over the place and was a nasty mess to clean up...No other grease i have ever had did that..
