This book was very enjoyable!
I’ve never read any of this author’s books before. But, I so appreciated her storylines and writing that I intend to add her to the top of my favorite writers list. It was thoughtful and well done. Thank you.

Loved this book!
This is my favorite Inglath Cooper book so far. It was intriguing from the beginning, and not totally predictable as a lot of books are. Loved the twist of Kylie being abducted, the impact it had on the main characters, and the fact that the storyline was believable. Will read the next book.

It was a wonderful fairy tale set in my favorite places in Tuscany. Thank you for the fantasy - especially the ending.

Rock Her
Lizzy Harper has been let down by her husband for the last time. It seems like every time that she plans something for them to do together, he cancels so she quietly changes the plans or cancels them all together. Well this time as really special, a month long trip to Italy for their 20th wedding anniversary. She was in hopes that it would renew their love for each other because things hadn’t been good for a while and they were slowly getting worse. She had hoped that he wanted that also but apparently he didn’t because he canceled. She was tired of waiting on him to see her again, tired of giving up things that she loved because he thought that they were a waste of time and tired of waiting on him period so she went without him. Who would have thought that a trip to Italy by herself would change her life forever.I’m a huge fan of Inglath Cooper but I’m not sure how I feel about this book. Was it interesting? Yes. Did it keep my interest? Yes .BUT here are the things that are throwing me off. It’s about four different people all at once.Lizzy, the 38 year old wife and mother that isn’t happy in her marriage or her life but hasn’t given up hope of making things work.Ty, Lizzy’s cheating husband who seems to think that because he’s a lawyer can do anything that he wants and has no problem using their daughter to make Lizzy look like the bad one.Kylie, Ty and Lizzy’s 20 year old daughter that knows what her father is like but blames her mom for not trying hard enough.Last but not least, Ren, the broken rock star that has had enough until he meets Lizzy.Thankfully each chapter was clearly marked with who was featured in it otherwise this story would have been very confusing. That was good but the writing style changed with each person. All were okay with the exception of when the chapter was about Ty. It was written as if he were the outside looking in or something like that. It was just weird and I didn’t like at all. Thankfully there was a very happy ending in the end which helped otherwise I more than likely would have only given it three stars.

Where's the entree?
This is a well-written novel. As with most romances the outcome is predictable; it is the journey to the end that makes the difference.Spoiler alert: I reveal the plot in the following comments..In this novel, the female protagonist (wife) exhibits just enough legitimate reluctance and personal angst to make her journey from husband to rock star lover a believable struggle. Ditto the rock star. This is more satisfying than in many romance novels where superficial external factors conveniently (but often unconvincingly) keep the would-be lovers apart … until the all-too-foreseeable climax (yes) at the end.But here’s the disappointing part. The husband is a really unsympathetic character, and the wife rediscovers her independent self partly because she rejects her husband. But we are deprived of a potentially-satisfying scene where she tells her husband to take a hike. Instead the author leaps to the epilogue where she has already rejected him, and is happily settled with the rock star. I feel like I was in a five-star restaurant, had the hors d’oeuvre, and then went directly to the desert, missing the entrée entirely.

A lovely romp through Tuscany
This is a light but engaging story of a marriage in trouble and an unexpected solo trip to Tuscany. This all leads to an equally unexpected meeting of two very different people. The resulting challenges and an underlying chemistry between the two central characters results in a fun and pleasant read. A side story about a young woman's (daughter) abduction adds a realistic and suspensful element to the story.

What a wonderful story.
From Italy to America and back this story weaves a tale of two lovers who meet in difficult circumstances. Heartbreak is evident in both of them only time can sort it out.
