These are quite sturdy and would work well with openwork knitted or woven goods. But, I purchased these to go through layers of saree pleats and they have little burrs or something that caught and broke the thread of my saree fabric. The pointed end of the pin is blunt on many of these, as though it was intentionally clipped off to not stab your skin. This defeated the purpose for me since they could only be used with more open weaves.

I bought these for my kilts or scarfs. It is hard to get through fabric so isn’t really useful for what I needed

I wish the pins would've been sharper. It takes a lot of pushing to get them throughout a blanket... and for weaker hands and fingers is hard. Plus, the fabric suffers.

Exceptional value. Love how strong they are and the gold is really bright which is what I needed. Making bird themed boutonniere and corsage pins for my upcoming wedding and these are perfect. If you need strong pins for a craft project or just to pin a kilt, blanket or shawl you can't go wrong with these. I have to hide them when I'm not working with them because my fiancé keeps eyeballing them for projects in his shop! Told him he could use his boutonniere pin after the wedding lol!

Great price..I use these to make little prayer flags for inspiration.These are really substantial...better than your ole safety pin.A better value than your craft store!!!!

I got a banner for my artist alley tables and these are perfect for affixing it to my tablecloth! They are strong and go through the vinyl easily. They are helpful for hanging things to the grids too, very versatile.

I primarily needed to use this when folding in my clothes because they were too loose. Regular cheap safety pins may be too delicate or thin, but these ones are very sturdy and can hold in a lot and or thick material without you working that it may come undone!

I found that these were a good quality. Opened and closed easily. I’m using them to store knitting stitch markers sets
