We love these boots
We live in Alaska where the winters are cold and snowy, these boots are phenomenal for my 4 year old. They keep her feet warm and dry while out in the snow. My only mistake is that I bought the wrong size and had to return them for another size. We definitely recommend these daughter is 4 got get a her a size 8 needed a size 9

Cold toes
I got these for my toddler who finally grew into a size 8. I was hoping to give him a really sturdy boot for this winter, anticipating lots of outdoors time now that he’s getting older. I ordered a pair of adult Sorels as well, putting my money and trust into brand many folks up here in Vermont wear and love.Sadly, almost every time my son has worn these, he has come toes when we come back inside. This will sometimes be less than 30 minutes spent in the snow on a “warm” (30F) day! I don’t recall that ever being a problem with the Snow Commander style (which I will go back to for next year’s boot purchase). It isn’t the fit—I ordered a size up for thick socks and they aren’t restricting his foot at all. Nor is the issue the socks, as he wears well-fitting wool socks to play in the snow. So, I’m a little disappointed and have lost some confidence in Sorel between these boots and my own, which also didn’t keep my toes warm! If your child is still in the smaller sizes, I’d say the Snow Commander is a much better option for quality and price.I will say the waterproofing is very good though, and he was even able to wade through puddles of snowmelt in late winter.
