Great Long Cable!
Adding a work computer to the house, I was in a panic because the Ethernet box is way out in the living area and my work computer was in my bedroom. Thank goodness for these extra long Ethernet cables to help close in on the distance. I have bought a Cat 8 before for my gaming PC and I loved it because of the quick connection speed so I didn’t want any less for my work computer. It was great to hold me over until my work internet was installed. Always happy with a Cat8 Cable. Worked great performance wise, always easy to set up, and I like the option of picking a white cable so it doesn’t stick out against my white walls.

Sturdy cable
TLDR:It's a great cable at a good price. Buy it!It's a great cable. Sadly I had to refit the RJ-45 connector on one end. But not because it was defective. I hardwired most of my house with Cat-5 cable in 1999. The path from the ISP modem at one end of the house to my "server room" at the other, runs though conduit. This cable was purchased to replace that connection. Sadly, the beautiful gold RJ-45 connector on this cable was larger than the conduit, so I had to cut the connector off and re-crimp a new one. This created a bit of a problem as the wire pairs in the cable did not match the standard stripe color scheme with which I was accustomed. In the end I realized that this cable has 4 individually wrapped wire pairs. In each pair there is a solid color wire and a white one. I eventually figured out what they had done was replace the primary/secondary color sets with wrapped pairs. I was accustomed to sets that were stripe color/white and white/stripe color -- predominately Blue/White plus predominately White/Blue were a pair. In Cat-5 they had to do it that way because the pairs were not individually wrapped. In this cable the individually wrapped pair with a sold blue and a solid white where a match for the same color stripe combination in the Cat-5 cable.

Great value for what you get!!
This QIFGUO Cat 8 cable promises blazing-fast internet speeds across a generous 50 feet. But is it all hype or a true network upgrade? Let's untangle the pros and cons:Pros:Future-proof: Cat 8 boasts the latest tech, ready for next-gen network speeds (think 40Gbps) even if your current plan isn't there yet.Durable build: Shielded design and high-quality materials resist interference and ensure reliable connections.Speed boost: Compared to older Cat 5/6 cables, you might see a noticeable improvement in download and upload speeds, especially for data-heavy tasks like streaming or gaming.Flat design: Easy to manage, bend, and tuck under carpets or around corners.Cons:Pricey: Cat 8 comes at a premium compared to older cable standards.Overkill for most users: Unless you have a Gigabit+ internet plan or transfer massive files regularly, Cat 6 might be sufficient and more budget-friendly.Compatibility: Not all routers and devices support Cat 8 yet, so check before you buy.Verdict:For casual internet users, this cable might be overkill. But if you're a data-hungry streamer, gamer, or future-proofer, the QIFGUO Cat 8 could be a worthwhile investment. Just remember, the true speed boost depends on your entire network setup, not just the cable. In short:Get it if: You have a Gigabit+ internet plan, transfer large files regularly, or want the latest tech.Skip it if: You're on a budget, use basic internet for browsing and streaming, or your devices don't support Cat 8.I hope this quick review helps you decide if the QIFGUO Cat 8 is the right fit for your internet needs!

Good upgrade for networks with 1Gbps fiber internet.
Needed longer cables to move router/modem setup. Decided to invest in Cat8 to replace Cat5e for the sake of future-proofing.Cat5e theoretically should have been sufficient to get the 1000Mbps from my ISP, but I was only pulling an average of 940Mbps with speed tests. The extra overhead of Cat8 allowed me to get the full 1000.Cable is thick. More rigid than the Cat5e cable that it replaced, yet still flexible enough to turn corners along baseboard. High-quality connectors with a snug fit, but the locking tab releases comfortably.Excellent build quality & performance for a very-nicely-priced Cat8.

Amazing cable that has given me great speed upload and download! Latency on my Xbox series X is really low which is a good thing. Overall happy with this cable and recommend getting. Build quality is superb and seems that it will last for years to come.

It came on time. Comes with little clip holder things and is very thick doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap.
