Was about to toss two of these into the trash, but decided to try a different brand of batteries. Was surprised to find that the problem was with the expensive new copper topped batteries and not the lights. After two months the lights are working great. The sensors are quite sensitive, as they should be, so you can relocate the lights on the rim of the commode and place them where they function as you want. These lights were coming on unnecessarily whenever someone walked past the bathroom at night, so I placed them closer to the back of the toilet and now they only come on at a closer distance. Very convenient and practical.

We've ordered many of these for family and friends. They are fun, bright, and very helpful at night. The color can be frozen to a specific color by pressing holding the button when the color you want is lit up. Be careful not to be too rough with the adjustable handle part.

These worked great out of the box, but here we are, less than 6 months later, and all 3 of them have stopped working. Even with a fresh battery change, they never started working again. This is the 2nd different "brand" of these that I've bought, and they all quit working after just a few months. So if you don't care about having to throw them away in a couple of months, they're great.Update: 10/8/2020 - I contacted Amazon Cust. Service, and they told me they couldn't help me with a return/refund (first time that's ever happened) and told me to contact the seller. So I did. They sent me a replacement in the mail - got it today. I appreciate the seller sending me another product. Great customer service. :)

I really bought these more as a novelty gift to add to Christmas stockings. I mentioned it to my sister and she purchased them and started using them weeks before Christmas and loved them. She thought of them as a safety feature for her 2 bathrooms without windows. They’re bright-but not too bright. Only drawback is the cat does activate the motion sensor when walking past it the bathroom door. 2months and batteries are still working fine.

For those of you who have to get up in the middle of the night, these are actually pretty handy! The red glow can be a little unnerving, like the pit of hell is waiting - hahaha! But get this: our power went out - had to make a pit stop and the motion sensor showed me the way!Yeah, you should get this :-)

Haven't had them longe enough to really rate. After about a month of use, 1 of the 3 just continues to change colors (yes, it was set to a color and randomly does it's own thing), 1 is still in the box and the other seems to work great.These are very lite weight and tend to fall off when the seat is lifted quickly. The bend that holds them on the rim tends to straighten out causing them to fall when the seat is lifted. No biggie, just clamp it back down or give it a squeeze to keep it bent when you clean it.The price isn't terrible for a 3 pack. All 3 come in 1 small box with each light wrapped in bubble wrap.The motion sensors are sensitive and pick up any movement which is nice. The lights are plenty bright enough. I haven't had to change the batteries since the initial installation upon arrival.

What a wonderful idea these are. They not only light up the bowl, but their motion detection is so sensitive, they come on well before you reach your destination. While they are a source of entertainment, they are also a safety item as they light your way. Can’t say enough good about these cool toilet lights.

I live in Florida. I bought these as part of my "hurricane supplies," i.e., if the power goes off at night, it allows me, and my husband, to see the bathroom and toilet (until I can put out the electric lanterns we use). A VERY useful item. Generally useful to me at night as well, since I don't have to turn on the lights and wake up my husband when I have to get up in the night. The only trouble I have had is the cats setting it off at night <smiling>.
