10% increase in Gigabit internet service.
Speed test average went from 850mbps to 950mbps over a 5 test average. There is also a noticable difference in reduced lag with 2 computers gaming at the same time. I think this is attributed to the 2000mhz bandwidth. At&t has fiber running into my house then Cat5e from the node to router. I replaced that 100mbps cable with this 40Gbps cable also the cable running from the router to the Gigabit switch in the attic. The rest are Cat6 cables that I personally previously ran because Cat5e is way under rated for Gigabit service. Well worth the time and money to stabilize service and reduce slow downs. Eventually everything will be Cat8.

Bad cable
Hanging my review because speed dropped dramatically and swapped cable out with a cat 5 and had faster speeds than I did with this cable

Nice, sturdy little cables that can handle even the highest of speeds..
I just got my ISP's new 1Gbps internet plan and so, had to buy a new modem and router that could handle the new higher speeds. Also needed new Ethernet cables for those higher speeds. Along with a couple of fairly lengthy cat6 or higher cables to use with my laptop and other devices, I needed a small cable that I could use to connect my modem and router and not have a huge length of unneeded cable taking up space and getting in the way. These work great for that and I haven't noticed any loss of speed or signal degradation with them. But they are short, a lot shorter than I realized when ordering them. If you are thinking about ordering these, you might want to get out a measuring tape and make sure that 1.5 ft. is going to be long enough for what you need. With where and how I have my modem and router placed, these little cords will just reach between the two, with no room to spare. I lucked out on that. I hadn't thought to see just how far apart the two devices were before I placed the order.Anyway, I'm happy with these cables. They are really sturdy and appear to be really well made. And being cat8, I'm guessing they will not only work great with the 1Gbps signal I'm getting now, but will still be usable if and when my ISP starts offering even higher speeds in the future. All in all, they are really nice, sturdy little cables. Well worth the money, I'd say.

High quality cable that can take some abuse!
I needed this for a long run for high-speed applications between devices. I needed to hurry and get this in for a few days before I could properly route it and laid it in a doorway. The door was accidentally closed on it a few times and this cable never failed! It is now properly routed and safe from any other accidents. Performs great and can take some abuse!

Very happy, overrated for what I need but I they work well and look good
Won't lie, probably ego made me buy them. I'm using 2 in a LAG from switch to router and I have no performance issues and am getting full efficiency out of my network, so I'm happy and would buy again. Well constructed

Work as advertised
I had a fast internet connection that we being hampered by older (Cat5) cables. Now I am getting all the speed at the business end of these 3 cables

Cat 8 Cable Makes a Difference
I support a large user-base for clients across Canada. This Cat 8 cable is made very well, improves speeds on slower portals, and looks more like a power cable due to its thickness. Arrived early. I was expecting to receive it on Monday. Kudos to the seller.Highly recommended. If you're using Cat 5e, Cat 5, Cat 6, or Cat 7 - know they are all inferior to Cat 8. Sure, you don't need 40 GBps throughput, but the extra shielding protects against interference that would otherwise cause lag on a network where a lot of applications or tabs are open at once. Ping times also improved. I believe that in my suburban area, everyone has the same ISP, so the network is sometimes compromised with annoying lag. If you are looking for an affordable and endgame Cat 8 cable, buy this one!- Dillon

Very disappointed at the quality of the 10FT cable.
I ordered a 10 FT cat8 cable (white) and a 33 FT cat8 cable (white).I am very disappointed at the quality of the 10FT cable. The 10FT cable cable looks grey and pale, compared to the 33ft cable that is white.I am sure I ordered white 10 FT cat8 cable, not grey cable. In addition, the 10FT cable is thinner than the 33FT cable, while the 33FT cable is thicker.Clearly, the 33FT has more shielding from electrical interference. (which is better)The 33 FT cable is speced to T568B.2 standard. The 10 FT cable is speced to T568C.2 standard. They are different cables............in color and in spec. Are these cable really capable of 40 Gbit/s transfer?

Great quality product that really makes a difference in speed
Got this for my PS5. Very impressed. Good quality product, made of good material and thick cord which won't break easily. The ends snap perfectly and easily into the slots on the modem and the console. The best part is that it actually worked. The download speed on my PS5 tripled with using this cable. I am quite happy with this purchase and recommend it to others. Remember to get this length at least as the shorter one doesn't work well for most set ups.

Thin cable
This 33' Cat 8 cable I received is a very thin one, even thinner than my cheap Cat 7 cables. I have purchased Cat 8 cables of another brand from Amazon before and they were significantly thicker than this one. While I am not saying that thicker cables are always better and that I don't really mind the thickness of cables, those thick ones I have purchased before work very well but this thin one does not perform as expected. Comparing this one to my other lower category ethernet cables, this one has no improvement in performance at all. The only good thing I feel about this cable is that it's light and flexible, but being so light and flexible may mean it's not really that much shielded as claimed, or that the individual wires inside may just be too thin.

Work great!
This long Cat 8 ethernet cable works as advertised and we now get a strong signal from the modem to the television set which requires an internet connection. Cat 8 cables are hard to find in our local stores that should have a large array of them and don't; they are still trying to get rid of the old Cat 5's which are not up to the transmission of these. Amazon has an impressive selection of Cat 8 cables at decent prices.
