I cut the old boot to remove it, sprayed the new ones (inner and outer boot) with preservative and slid into place.

Fits my 1991 Ford F150. Thick and durable. The inner boot eliminated the deteriorating inner foam.

Not deep enough very shallow mount

I put a little dish soap on the shifter and it slid down into place effortlessly
