Well built product
So far so good. I bought for my fat bike. Head tube angle is so slack that my bike light was pointing too high. I was worried the weight of the light and computer might cause them to drop due to the pivot but so far so good.

Excellent Mount
The media could not be loaded. I wanted an angle adjustable Garmin style mount for a Magicshine Ray 2600 light. I also needed a snugger interface to prevent the light from jiggling around. This inexpensive, nicely made mount gives me both. The interface is extremely secure unlike my other mount. It also securely mounts my GoPro below. The Thinkvik mount is nicely made and all aluminum. It comes with very high quality mounting quality hardware. Included is a 4 mm hex wrench and a 4 mm Torx wrench. Some reviewers seem unfamiliar with this type of fastener and obviously had problems related to this slipping. The hardware included in my purchase includes the 4 mm torx wrench necessary to tighten this bolt. It is small enough to slip in a Jersey pocket to take along on the first few rides.

Convenient but kinda overbuilt
I bought this to save space on my handlebars and I thought the aluminum would look sleek and durable. Only downsides are that it uses a bunch of randomly sized screws with different thread sizes and heads. Makes it a little less convenient but not a huge deal. Definitely buy some thread locked so the threads don't get loose. My main gripe is that the all aluminum build sucks for a go pro mount. The aluminum is too rigid and can't bend enough to squeeze the gopro and prevent it from pivoting. You'll have to add tape or something to act as a spacer to bridge the gap and create more friction.

Study. Feels safe and stable
I bought this thing 3 or 4 years ago. It's super rad and the one that you want to buy. That pivot comes in exceptionally useful.More importantly, times have changed. These days everything is mounted with this set up. GPS, Horn, and even lights. It would be super cool if a new one was made with 2 or 3 of these mounts. 2 would be easy, one upper and one lower (just flip the mount). 3 would be trickier... and useful. The sturdyness of it is wonderful. No wiggle. Everything is secure while you ride. After using it constantly for 3+ years, this is the one to buy.

Solved my ebike headlight problem
My bike (an Evelo Aurora Limited) is a fine Ebike, but the handlebar stem is angled forward 30 degrees to give it that upright, beach cruiser feel. That meant all the 90 degree or straight 180 degree Garmin mounts out there weren't going to work for my needs. I needed a mount that could angle in-between.My goal was to mount an Olight RN1200 (with a Garmin quarter twist lock) to my bike, but not directly on the handlebars, as it would put the light off center and that would bug me. Plus, I have other things I want to mount to the handlebars, and a headlight that twists off requires too much dedicated space. That said, I did try a fender mounting solution prior to finding this mount, but the light was too low, hard to operate the button, and the light was partially blocked by the fender/tire.The ability to dial in the exact angle for my headlight is what makes the Thinvik Bike Computer Mount the perfect choice for me. Plus where the light mounts now, is terrific! I can quickly activate the light button and it's up high enough to properly light up my path and let me be seen by oncoming traffic.Once I got my headlight properly aimed, I tightened down the T15 torx screw and not had any issue with movement in the weeks I've had it installed. Granted, I did use a bit of red threadlocker (aka Loctite) on all the screws used, so that may be why. Some possible cons include the use of a torx headed screw over a hex headed screw, as it's not as common. The lack of any threadlocker compound on the included screws, and a lack of a spline pattern between the two mating surfaces, to minimise slip. None of these, were an issue for me.Overall, this is a great product for the price, and solved my issue brilliantly! Also, I thought it was great of them to include an extra Garmin mount, tools, and a GoPro mounted flashlight holder in the box!

Plastic insert broke
The mount was fairly simple and straight forward to install. The ability to install it on the front of the stem is awesome and it looks good. Unfortunately I ran into two problems with it.The first is simple enough, you want to make sure you put some type of thread lock on the fastener in the pivot arm. I did not and had to stop to tighten it mid ride. The second is problem was the plastic insert (garmin mount) broke with a few miles left in the ride. Luckily I had my garmin tethered so it did not hit the ground, but it was incredibly frustrating to have it break on the first ride. The frame portion of it seems good enough, the plastic insert seems fragile and low quality.

Perfect
Previously I had a difficult time removing my GPS from my bike due to the aero bars. This made it so simple...plus I can angle it for better viewing during bright sun.

Not so great
Bought this Garmin mount in 2023, so I have about years worth of cycling with it. This morning while I was riding, it just broke off. Thankfully I had a tether on my Garmin, to stopped it from smashing on the ground. I would’ve expected this to last longer than that…
