Excellent Security Camera System - A Lot of Bang for Your Money
After a lot of reviewing specs, comparing prices, and considering customer reviews I decided on this system, and I am very happy that I did. In my opinion this is the best value for the money in terms of quality and value. The cameras are truly "plug and play". I purchased a separate 32" TV to use as a dedicated monitor on Amazon for $130.00. This is a better option then buying a system that comes with a monitor as those monitors are typically very small and if you want that size for viewing just download the app to your phone or tablet. I downloaded the app to my phone and can check in LIVE at anytime as well.Customer service is great too. They are very concerned about providing good customer service and that is very important to me. I called the customer service number because had a couple of questions during setup that were addressed promptly. They were patient and very informative. Another reason I had to contact customer service was to inquire about additional cameras because I did not see any individual cameras for my system on Amazon. PLEAS NOTE: If you purchase the 4 camera system and decide to add additional cameras you will have to contact the customer service number to have them send you a link to purchase the additional cameras on Amazon.The setup is very easy. I am not technical and I was able to get all 4 cameras online in seconds. One thing I would like to mention - once I got the 4 cameras setup I decided that I would like more coverage and wanted to add additional cameras. It is much easier and cheaper if you buy more than you need (i.e. 8 camera system) than to have to purchase more after the fact. Lesson learned, but not a big deal. Still the best system for the money.I installed my cameras outside. Unless you have access to electrical outlets that are convenient to where you want to mount the cameras you will need to have someone that is familiar with light electrical work to install the cameras and wire them into you electrical source. This can be expensive or inexpensive - totally dependent on who you hire. At first I contacted a company that primarily installed security systems and got a quote of $800 for 4 cameras, I tried a few handyman sites and got quotes around $240 for 4 cameras, then I contacted TAKL.com and I was able to get the 4 cameras installed for $120! FYI - on their site this was considered a SMALL ELECTRICAL job.

Pretty good sysytem for the price
This does exactly what we need. To install, I used some hints that I have picked up reading reviews on various systems on the web. I located the base station roughly centered in my house and near network access. I taped the cameras in place around the house in locations that I wanted to monitor I had excellent luck getting all cameras to connect even though several locations went through many walls. After everything proved out, I was able to install all the cameras permanently with a minimum of work. I had to install a couple of power outlets as the cords were too short. My one issue that I think would be very helpful with the cameras would be to mount the antenae more on the side so that the antenae could be adjusted to point up or down. I mounted the cameras up high near the soffits and there was no room to have then pointed up. I could have them go sort of downward at an angle. Another option would be to have the option to hang the cameras upside down and flip the image displayed on the monitor and app.I used the Eseecloud app. Both recommended apps were written by the same guy, so it didn't seem to matter which one was used. Eseecloud had the most recent publish date so I selected it. It is kind of a limited app but it seems to do the job. It is very easy to accidentally swipe the display and show the camera set 4-8 which I don't have installed. All you see is 4 black screens with the spinning update. Of course it will never update. A swipe will bring you back the the installed 4 cameras. The full screen display is usable, but it would be very nice to be able to show a single camera in the full screen mode.I haven't done anything fancy on the recordings, just record all the time I think there is roughly a month of recording which is plenty for my needs.All in all, a pretty good system for the price.

UPDATE (Intermittent self-resets)
This looks like a pretty good system, with one big caveat.Pros:- worked right out of the box, every camera paired- decent signal strength - 20+ meters and thru walls- adequate User Interface- easy install- love the flip screen.Cons:The system keeps resetting itself at random times. First few times it actually stopped recording. Started up again when i recycled the power, but the whole point of having a NVR is that it's recording All The Time! If it's not doing that, i can't trust it to record when it really needs to.The tech support folks wondered if i would please try it with a beefier power supply (3A vs the factory 2A unit). Wait - does that mean it's shipped with an inadequate power supply?!? And i'm supposed to have a spare 3A supply in a drawer?Turns out i kinda did - an old 2.67A power supply from the 1990's, same voltage (i measured it).. After another few days running on that, it still kept resetting itself, but it restarted with little or no loss in recording. Then i ordered a 5A supply from amazon (ASIN B06Y64QLBM). Since then, same self-resets, but less often and always restarts on its own without loss of recording.It just feels like someone decided to cheap out with an inadequate power supply and hope for the best. I don't appreciate having that done, especially when it's part of my home security. Fix this and i'll upgrade to the 5 stars the system otherwise deserves..UPDATE: After many conversations with "Joy" in Customer Service, i finally found the time to do their software update (to version 3.1.6.0). In the 20 days since then, it has not had any self-resets and operated reliably. I'm calling this problem "fixed"..NOTE about RANGE: My neighbor bought the same unit after seeing mine. He's had a few self-resets as well, so i did the same update for him. One of his 4 cameras is about 90m away down a laneway. A good quality image makes the 90m (300 ft) trip from that camera to his log house and thru a 15cm (6") solid wood wall. I'm impressed :-).I'm also impressed with Joy. She has been diligent and persistent despite initial problems, and done everything in her power to help - even phoned from China. She extended my warranty for a full year from the fix. Totally changed my experience with this product and is a credit to her employer.

Great System & Customer Service
Super easy to install and cameras connected to the system quickly. Great picture quality. Had some difficult at the start with the device not recognizing the hard drive. I contacted customer support and Joy helped me out. Got the device recording to the hard drive quickly. Customer service (Joy) was quick to respond to email support and very friendly. I would definitely buy another one of these systems in the future. The previous cameras I had would always drop connection to the wifi and reconnect — these don’t. These stay connected.

Very Effective Home Security System And Customer Service
This is the first home security system I've purchased and installed, and I found it very effective and easy to set up.Although I encountered a slight problem initially, which I discovered was not related to the system, but with my start phone. I quickly solved the problem and had the system up and working perfectly.Another area of the company/business that I'm highly impressed with, is your customer service. Before I found the solution to my smart phone problem, I contacted customer service, and a company representative by the name of Melody, responded immediately; she was knowledgeable, courteous, and effective in her communication with me. because of my experience, I would certainly recommend this product to friends and family.

No warranty and impossible to speak to anyone
I purchased this unit in July 2022 and one camera no longer works I have tried day and night for months to try and speak with someone and now I believe they have disconnected the number. I tried emailing and it bounced back, it’s a very expensive unit to not have any support available or any warranty. I am very disappointed, my advice is do not waste your money on this.

Best Camera System
In the last 2 months I have been ordering and buying lots of camera systems to find one that will catch everything and have found this one is by far the best and is an incredible price. It's WIFI never loses connection, 24/7 recording, can live view, playback, hear audio from the app. Night vision is clear. Only minor improvement is a better image quality when zooming in. Other then that it's amazing! Highly reccommend.
