Mad Rock Gemini Carabiner

Great for a hammock or tent. Also works amazing for tethering items to a pack. Both ends lock with the gate lock which is awesome. Great light weight construction and unique design.

I am using this carabiner primarily with a Grigri, but it should work with similar belay devices as well. I wouldn't recommend it with ATC-like devices as the cable loop of those devices might hit the middle part of the carabiner and interfere with its performance.As advertised, its geometry does a really great job of preventing cross-loading. I can't get the grigri to jam in a cross-loading position like others have been able to demonstrate with other belay-specific carabiners (that doesn't mean it can't happen, but I'm confident its performance is at least on par with other belay-specific carabiners).As a downside, this carabiner doesn't have a lot of space on it, nor does the gate open very wide. It's big enough for a belay device and not much else. It's not very versatile. Don't expect to use this for more than belaying sport climbing. Some of its competitors are a little more versatile.That said, I'm really happy with it for sport climbing purposes.

Exactly as expected. Really nice feel to the whole thing. Had it 2 hours and already used it can see the difference immediately. Great product. Very fast delivery. Will quite postorder another one before long.
