Solid armor, good fit
Let me start by saying that these fenders are heavy and the install is very involved. You start by removing your side steps (or rock sliders), fender flares and inner fender liners. Then the antenna, antenna base, vent cowl and side cowls, and then the quarter panels (these replace the quarter panels). Then you cut off the fender support brackets. As far as re-installation, you mount the adjustable brackets onto the armor then you can hang the roughly 100 lb piece onto the body with a couple of the body bolts so you can adjust the panel's location. I recommend a friend or 2to help with this install since you're going to be trying to get your gaps adjusted and setting a bunch of bolts. Set your gaps where you want them and torque the bolts down and reassess. When you're happy you need to mark (I highly recommend using a transfer punch for this part) 3 bolt holes along the rocker panel. Then remove the whole fender (leave the brackets attached to the panel and just remove the body bolts for easier re-installation) and drill the 3 massive holes and set your nutserts (the included "tool" is no bueno, spend another 40-90 bucks and get a rivnut/nutsert tool or rent one from a local auto parts or auto body shop you'll be glad you did) once those 3 are set tight you reinstall the panels. The cowls were spot welded onto the original panels so you'll have to find a way to fasten them to the new panels, I used some painter's tape and a can of body colored touch up paint to mark the holes I'd drilled out where the spot welds were, pre drilled slightly smaller holes than the screws I was going to use and used self tapping screws to secure them, then pushed them down into position and bolted them on, then reinstalled the vent cowl, and boom... you're good. I haven't set the fog lamps (which were included in my box) into them yet. The lights are a no name brand 64mm LED with halos, when I get them installed I'll update. Overall, this can be done by yourself, I did mine on my own and I'm only moderately mechanically inclined and was blessed with a strong back. It took me about 4 hours or so to do, so set a day aside. If you have help the install will go much faster. You're going to need a lot of tools, star bits, Allen bits/wrenches, a socket set, a crescent wrench or open end wrench or 3, a drill and drill bits, touch up paint recommended for the holes you drill to prevent rust and probably 3 cases of adult beverages for when you're done. These fenders are heavy duty, solidly built and absolutely change the entire look of the front of your Jeep JK/JKU. They're flat top and do come with the flat plate and a flare for each side to attach to them (which I also haven't installed yet) and the LED's that fit into the fog light holes on the front. There are no fender liners so either buy metal ones or you can trim your factory ones to fit.I will also recommend some Raptor Liner or something along those lines either black or color matched for pieces of the body that stick out around the fenders to blend them better.

Worth every dollar
Love the looks doesn’t come with the little marker lights for corners. Instructions are bland to say the least, must have some mechanical ability

Solid Fenders
Great Fenders, but i was missing part of the hardware. The bolt package to install the fender extensions were missing. Just waiting for Smittybilt to contact me about getting replacement bolts so I can finish the install.Update: The hardware kit is on the way and I am extremally happy that I got these. Now to Install the rear ones.
