This is a very cool puzzle. Not hard to put together
This is a very cool puzzle. Not hard to put together, which is ok because I had just finished the much harder puzzle of Picasso's Guernica. The puzzle pieces have crazy and fun shapes. The colors are magnificent. The cardboard quality is great. And you really learn a lot about the fish both from the pictures and from the details supplied on each one, including the largest one caught, when, and where. Just too bad it was not 1500 pieces or more. A bit of modge-podge and it'll look great on any wall!

Fun puzzle! Has enough variety in textures and colors of each fish to make it pretty challenging, but enough differentiation that you can eventually still figure out which piece may go with each fish or background area. The pieces are very randomly shaped - we laughed several times at some of the weird configurations. We felt this made the puzzle better, as one of us tends to focus more on the shapes of the pieces, and the other more on just the colors and images. I actually learned a bit about fish identification too!

This puzzle is well constructed and has an educational aspect that came out while I worked on it. It was amazing to see how many differences there are in fins alone. This was a good experience.
