Easy to install. They just float in place compared to some others that the covers are screwed down and then the blades are screwed down as well. These simply stay in place because of the blades. Nice look, fits fine in the fly more combo case. Does make the silicone blade straps not fit very well, but I’ve read those strap can mess up the rotors so I don’t use them anymore. These were inexpensive, and went on quickly. They did make my Mini increase to registration-required weight.

A little loose fitting, I was very concerned before flying with them for the first time. They seem to work fine, no extra noise or drag. I tested them in C, P, and S modes in all directions, over land and water, and they seem to work just fine. I would’ve liked a more snug fit, but it really cleans up the look of the drone. I’m not sure if it puts the drone over 249 grams.

After doing a lot of reading in social media about these motor covers, I finally decided to try them. Some say that they might reduce ventilation of the motors, causing them to overheat. However, I did my own testing with a thermal gun, measuring the temperature of the motors with and without the caps. These caps not only keep dirt and grit out, they also act as a heat sink, conducting heat away from the motors and reducing the internal temperature. So, good purchase. Five stars.

These are NOT aluminum! They are plastic. But they work just fine either way. I would rather them be plastic, cause they are lighter then. But they do a good job protecting the open motors. Dirt & water can't get into the motor now. Exactly what I wanted.

The Item looks and works great. Doesn't rattle nor bothers the propellers or the motor. The problem that I ran into, and as well as previous buyers too is the fitting. One out of all four of them needed to be re adjusted due it being too tight and unable to fit properly on top of the exposed motor. So instead of just removing the propellers and being done with it I had to adjust it with plyers and even still today.

They went on easy and they fit well and did not impede the propellers.They cover the motors, but I can't vouch for what protection they actually provide. I flew home in light rain once. No issues.

Crap. Ok yes strong words but let me explain. I am an experienced drone pilot for over 5 years.Installed these on my Mavic MiniBig problem, when you’re motors change pitch or speed to allow for direction changes in flight / or even hovering I noticed that these caps rose up and interfered with the rotation on the props , which results in a weird oscillation in the drone. I would not recommend these based on my experience .

und nichts gehalten. Die Dinger sind nicht so passgenau, wie sie für die auf 1/100 mm genau gefertigten Motoren der Mini sein müssten. Beim ersten Probeflug hörte sich die Mini wie eine Kreissäge an. Die versprochene Staubdichtigkeit ist nicht gegeben. Bei längerer Anwendung befürchte ich Probleme mit der Motortemperatur. Ich habe die Deckel nach dem Probelauf in die Tonne geklippt. 6€ Verlust. Nun ja.

Bought them with the idea that they may keep random debris away from motors...don't know if they actually do this, but they were easy to install, do not seem to affect operation in any way, motors run cool so air-flow appear unimpaired. Probably best for keeping debris from my backpack out of the motors.
