A Torah Commentary for Our Times: Numbers and Deuteronomy (3)

We'll be studying the book of Deuteronomy and I have ordered other Jewish commentaries that help me understand the Old Testament. This one has commentaries from rabbis of the past, and this is what I'm interested in - interpretation and historical contexts.

The issue is not with the dealer, the book was simply what I thought I was purchasing and doesn't really meet my needs. Again, the book is fine, service was good, but it's not what I needed.

Rabbi Fields's Torah commentary is splendid. It is fun to read and offers insights that can be picked up at a glance in brief sittings... or can be mulled over and discussed and debated in depth with friends and family. Originally I got this text as a gift from my father to help with teaching my Bible studies class to high school students.
