Sonda leggera ma robusta
La sonda si assembla facilmente ed il cavo interno sembra robusto e duraturo. Provata durante l’annuale esercitazione anti-valanga, ha funzionato alla perfezione. L’ho usata anche per valutare i bordi di un piccolo crepaccio. Penetra facilmente nel manto nevoso e nella neve compatta; vibra quando colpisce il ghiaccio. In generale, un buon prodotto anche se non adatto all’uso professionale.

Tip and first section somehow became untied…
Tip and first section somehow became untied from the rest of the probe, luckily, this happened in a practice drill. Could have been a disaster in a real situation.Update: Snowsafe was fantastic in dealing with problem and provided a new probe replacement. The new Terrawest probe is working great, hope I never have a real need to use this! upgrading to four stars for the customer service and the new probe is working.
