I had low expectations. A long rod to hang clothes on and lift them required something that would not flex and would also be easy enough to manipulate! Excellent in all categories! Would absolutely buy again!

Love this thing. But literally took it out of the box and the wooden handle fell off. Which I guess is right on par with these as Ive worked in retail since college and think I've only encountered one or two of these ever that was completely in tact. lol!

I am elderly and have trouble balancing, so I can stay seated and reach hangers in a walkin closet without having to go inside and stand up.

I am an avid bird watcher, and my wife and I dedicated a portion of our front yard to being a "bird sanctuary". A few weeks ago, I was on a ladder refilling our feeders when I lost my balance and fell, breaking my right ankle. I needed to find something to assist me with filling my feeders without using a ladder. This was the answer! It works just like I thought it would, and is built better than I thought it would be, based upon some of the reviews I'd read.

I'm short and could not reach my clothes on the top bar in my closet.
