Felicita ARC Electronic Coffee Scale, 105x135x15.5mm, BLACK

I have been using this wonder for a few days now. I have it set to auto tare as I place the cup, and have the timer auto starts the espresso extracts.Highly recommend. I got it with a 20 pct coupon here. Made it really worth it.

Out of the box using the ARC, I found the scale controls are not completely intuitive...it takes a couple reads of the manual and some practice to get used to operating it.A week of use getting through that learning curve, I’ve been taken by this scale’s accuracy and functionality. As a fan of manual espresso extraction, the auto tire/timer mode has really simplified pulling weight/timed espresso shots...I no longer need to press any buttons on my scale when pulling my shots...just focus on my espresso machine controls and the weight change readings on the scale. The scale timer automatically stops once the extraction is completed so I can verify and track the extraction time....nice. The scale is also small enough to fit on my espresso machine’s drain tray while holding two cups when splitting a double shot extraction.This scale has two other automatic modes for use with other coffee brewing methods (e.g. Pour-over) that I have yet to use.This scale Bluetooth connects for use of Felicita‘s phone/tablet app, but I haven’t found the need to use it yet.

This is an awesome scale. I think I'm in love with it. I want it to have my children although, I know that may not be possible.Anyway...after buying a few $20-$48 dollars scales here from Amazon including a $120 rebuilt Acaia Pearl I got the Felicita. I swear the clouds parted and the sun was shining again. have you ever wanted to through your scale out a window, as you shout words like "why"?This scale seems to be the most accurate I've had. I'll place a portafilter on the scale and its weight is displayed. No waiting for the scale have its numbers bounce around until it figures out if the portafilter is 457.80 grams or 457.81 grams. Tare the weight and 0.0 is displayed. It stays there too. After I fill my PF and put that on my torn scale. 18g is now displayed. Tare an espresso shot glass, stat my shot and the timer starts.In other words. This scale works and works well. A lot cheaper than an Acaia Luner to boot. At least that WAS the direction I was headed.

Was looking for something a little bit different that would hold 2 cups at the same time and was a lower profile. This scale was absolutely what I needed and I would recommend it to anyone!!

I recently upped my espresso game by adding this fantastic scale to my coffee bar. This scale is very accurate and includes a 100 gram weight for calibration. It is also extremely sensitive responding to even a single coffee bean. Plus the rectangular form factor allows you to place 2 espresso glasses on the scale together.Minor issues, it only comes with a 1 year warranty so for this price I would definitely purchase the 4 year extended warranty that is offered by Amazon. Also while the Android app does work and is occasionally updated I think it would be most useful for Pour-over users. So I am just using the app to check the battery level, which it does nicely.Overall a great decision to buy!

I am relatively new to the prosumer espresso world, but I did want a decent scale to help me repeat my shots.This scale fits well under the double spout on my A53 Lucca Mini with enough room to hold shot or my 3oz espresso mugs with no trouble.The machine feels durable, is relatively easy to use and has easily handled some spilled liquids.The modes all have their uses, depending on what you're doing around the kitchen, and the near instant 0.1 gram response time is great.Note that this unit DOES come with a calibration weight, which also helps as time rolls on for these devices.If I had one issue, it would be that my slow to respond old-man fingers sometimes have trouble getting an accurate double tap to power off, so I end up changing weighing modes.. which juat means cycling through them, but otherwise I have nothing to complain about.Great unit, I feel like I have the options and quality of espresso scales that are double the costs.

Nice form factor and features. But out of the box the tare feature did not work making this scale useless.
