MazbotFiberglass Scratch Pen Brush with Replacement Brush

This is a decent quality scratch pen. The casing is plastic and doesn't feel all that durable, but provided it's not banged around a lot, it's fine for the job. The tip where the fiberglass comes out is metal. The fiberglass extends/retracts by turning the knob at the end of the pen. I've not had any problems having the fiberglass staying put while in use, but I only use it lightly for cleaning contacts, and don't bear down very hard.I use it for cleaning bare (non-coated) electrical contacts and threading in mech mods, and it works perfectly. Little effort is needed to get copper contacts shiny like new again. Some fiberglass does come off when using the pen, so it's important to clean up after using it. Compressed air should NOT be used for this since it will blow the fiberglass around (it's a skin irritant). Rather, I use a Q-tip soaked in alcohol to mop up any residue after cleaning.It's not heavy duty, but it works fine and it comes with a spare fiberglass insert, which is a major plus. Good value for the price.

I have been wanting one for a long time so I finally ordered one. Should last me a lomg time.

Does a good job at cleaning out the rock chips on the hood of car getting ready for touch up paint.

Used for cleaning oxidation from lighting connector for iPhone. Works well.

Ordered this and received it with the bristles already fanned out, not together tight. When I tried to change out the refill cartridge I had to work on the mechanism with pliers before it would come loose. Terribly disappointed.
