This lovely tool is the best investment I ever made in my hands. I use it to to smooth out the skin around my nail so that I stop finding rough spots to pick at. My cuticles used to be swollen, soar and often painful. I now have healthy skin and my nails, which are so much stronger from the lack of abuse. The only thing that ever helped me stop picking my cuticles.

It works really well; the diamond crystals never get dull, and it's easy to clean. It's great that the filing part of it comes right up close to the edge of the file. I use it almost every day on the rough skin around the edges of my fingernails. I should probably get a file No. 10 for my feet, as this No. 5 is not adequate for there, but it's perfect on the hands.

Works well on the small calloused areas on the palm.

This was an expensive purchase that did help my hands at all!I got it to help get rid of hard skin and calluses on hands and it did not even make any difference. I have been using this daily (30min+) for at least a week straight...I have had no improvement of any kind!It advertises helping with calluses and hard skin on the hands, which is the ONLY reason I purchased this incredibly expensive product.I would highly recommend against anyone purchasing this for the use of making your hand smoother.....Perhaps it works for cuticles and and near your fingernails... But it certainly does not help with calluses or hard skin

it's okay. I was hoping for something closer to the classic #10, but in a size that makes it easier to access fingertips under nails, and around cuticles. To me it seems a shade milder than using a pumice stone.

Cannot believe how much they are charging for this incredibly flimsy bit of cheap plastic.

An essential for those who touch people on regular basis, like myself, a massage therapist. A bit pricey for such a small tool, and it feels flimsy, but it does what I need it to do - smooths out roughness and cracks.
