I was initially worried about the cost of this and considered getting it’s lower-priced sibling: the Aputure 120d Mk II. However, after using this in my studio for various filming applications, I must say that this thing is amazing. It’s powerful enough to emulate the moonlight in nighttime filming applications and, with a bit of finesse, you can emulate the sun during daylight filming if needed.It’s definitely overkill for those making simple YouTube talking head videos but if filmmaking is your desire, the 300d Mk II is easily recommendable.

This is literally one of the best lights money can buy! Direct comparison of hue and tint shift of even 3k lights don’t match up and the functionally of having a superclamp and a Remote setup with so much more it’s unbeatable. Buy it and go for the 300 not 120 you’ll be glad you did.

That's a must have light for filmmakers, vlogers, it had better bright than 120d II, so you can set up for silhouette, bigger location.
