Well sometimes certain things need reviews. After looking at pre Corded-reeled worx strimmer cord but with unrealistic Month/Months delivery times & being a prime member I needed something quick as my worx 157E 20v battery strimmer I purchased with cord already loaded on finally Ran out unexpectedly . I wasn’t that bothered as it came with my purchase but the small amount that flew out that had the thickness of those shoe lace confectionery sweets & same colour I was going to take to the local DIY store that you need a map & a car to drive around it’s so big & the faff of masks now Just didn’t want to do . I needed it ideally on next day delivery. Those that looked like worx and came on rolls looked the easiest of options but as stated above not only delivery was a issue I’d read terrible reviews that they were Chinese cheap Copies and snapped easily with rolls lasting a short while. Having done my garden for 2 years with what I imagine was genuine worx cord albeit I imagine just to put you on I was wanting the same that self fed through the machine and lasted. Having had plug in strimmers prior to this wonderful machine and the nightmare of rolling it on wrong and having to take the dam thing off you pushed in and springs etc flying out I thought how hard can it be I’ve got the reel and Cap and this looked simple enough to load. So when this arrived I Initially thought I’d messed up it was much thicker but looked good quality and 45ft or so for this price I attempted to load and how simple it was but not knowing how it was attached prior I noticed the four holes two close together at each side so all I did was use a kitchen fork to make just one of the holes slightly bigger simple enough task just pushed it in the soft plastic and then removed the fork then clipped the cord end into it more or less flush and started to wrap it around making sure I went with the arrows on the reel. I managed to load a decent amount on the reel Obviously not as much as you could a thinner cord and simply put the cog side in and fed a little though the Brass outer hole clipped on the top stopper a doddle and strimmed away. It’s brilliant it cuts cleanly much stronger than what was on prior as it’s not just the grass this hits at times doing the edging & hitting concrete & around tree stumps concrete fence posts etc it showed no signs of breaking. It’s not just the cord that I love it’s the machine itself gone are the days of struggling and rolling it on to It then all bunch up and come off then again struggling to get it onto the machine the ones with stupid push and twists Attachment then it not doing it’s job and self feeding to then have to take it off struggling then pushing more through then 2 minutes later hearing that dreaded cord snap again. This looks really great quality cord even it stored in the packaging you can tell it’s not Chinese cheap cotton Like easy break disguised as good quality cord. I don’t have a jungle garden but do have to maintain a very bad patch on the outside of my garden between my drive & neighbours that During this awful summer as grown durrasic Massive thick Weeds and it cut through them like soft butter even a twiggy type bush that had overgrown Onto the grass area that you would probably use hedge cutters and my other strimmer cord couldn’t handle it just whipped it so decided To use this cord and it cut without and issues. Sometimes it’s not just about the speed of rotation it’s the quality of the cord you use and this I cannot fault it’s strength. It really impressed me and glad I didn’t fall for these pre rolled Cheap rubbish with loads of metres .You just wouldn’t need that amount if buying a good quality cord and that I’ve found With this. Very HAPPY

Got this to use with my existing electric strimmer and I have to say, the cord included here is a better quality, tougher and thicker than that which was included with the machine when purchased.The comes in a handy plastic container, with a hole in the middle that allows you to keep the unused line in check (rather that it being a tangled mess).I find with this new line that it breaks less often and is able to cut through more grass and weeds - and in less time.Really pleased with it, and will buy it again when i run out.

This stuff is magic. No sooner than it dropped on the door mat, I'd found the reel of strimmer cable I'd lost from a previous purchase. So now I have 2 reels of strimmer cable to lose between now and my next purchase.Also, be sensible and wear proper footwear. When this stuff breaks off mid spin I swear it homes in on your toes, and hurts like hell when it hits them!(Product is spot on, does the job fine.)

Great price and quick delivery. Can be used on a range of strimmers; fits my Bosch perfectly. Plenty in the pack to refill at least twice

I wanted to like this product and for the first few seconds of use I really did.Then the breakages started. Literally every 3 inches the strimmer wire would fracture and I would have to stop and re-thread my stimmer.I've been using the same strimmer with various wires for the past 11 years and I've never had this issue before. It's a standard Bosch electrical strimmer with auto wire feed. I've used Bosch wire, third party wire all sorts.Sadly this wire is pitiful. It looks impressive and super strong...but it really isn't. It isn't fit for purpose. 1/5 (but really ZERO OUT OF FIVE).

Bought this as a replacement for my cordless strimmer as the original had run out. It's far chunkier than the original and therfore much more durable. It is a bit more difficult to get into the actual strimmer but once it is in you are laughing. It doesn't snap as easily and is a lot more robust than the original. Would definitely buy again.

Great value product which comes in a neat dispenser, and much easier than faffing around with open reels.

Broke my strimmer in several places. Strimmer no longer usable. Very unhappy with purchase. Think you are getting a good deal think again as its now cost me the price of new strimmer. 👎👎👎
