Foster Grant Men's Sawyer Multifocus Reading Glasses Rectangular

See both near and far! One pair of glasses.
This is my 2nd pair. My first pair is about 5 years old and they are still working, but the lenses do have some scratches, and though the earpieces have never broken, the springs have given up. They are my daily-wear glasses (cheaper than a trip to the optometrist) so they are durable and comfortable. They do take a little getting used to - like a bit or motion sickness at first. But hey, the price point is right, and one pair of glasses for most purposes is just what I needed.

Nice multifocal use...but
Wish they had 4 stages with a clear at the top, or rather than a lower diopter grade, a clear for distance viewing. I have to remove these to view while driving or watching TV from looking at my phone. Defeats the multi-use purpose. Also wish they made these as sunglasses. This would have been perfect as a one-time purchase and solution for far-sighted drivers.

Great glasses, but lost a screw
Sucks getting old. That's why I need reading glasses now. I tried some of the off-brand sets and was disappointed by the clarity and even the color (some were yellowish). I bought a set of Foster Grant regular reading glasses and loved how nice they were to use.Upon receiving these, I made them my day to day glasses. I love having them on while plucking away at the computer, but still can look at people or watch TV. They're comfortable and everything looks great. Some of the cheaper set I've bought distort things. Everything was fine until a couple nights ago.I took my glasses off only to have the nose piece stuck to my nose! :DI can't find that teeny tiny screw anywhere and I'm not sure if they have a warranty. Hopefully I can find a solution to this. I like these glasses.

Distance band is not clear. Medium and close up great
I liked the shape of the frames and the close up and medium distance feature. Long distance not so much

Good glasses for the price
I really like having progressive lenses as I find my eyes naturally go to the appropriate place depending on my distance from what I am looking at. These would be perfect if they were anti glare as I find on conf calls they reflect back too much light and people can’t see my eyes.

Practical, good optical qualities, scratches easily, for larger faces
There are so many options out there, and I've tried a number of them.. I've purchased two of these for two reasons: (1) Reliable product, name brand. (2) Scratches easily, so want a replacement as necessary. If you have a small face, I'd advise against this product. Also, like most of mass-produced readers, it scratches easily which is very frustrating. The reason I'd recommend this is that it is a reliable, useful product with good optics. Not a fashion look, though.

Optical qualities not so good
I bought these for computer display and paper work as I use 2 different reader strengths for both and didn’t want to keep switching glasses for each. I find them the be a bit too blurry to use and not as sharp as single strength readers though the multifocus strengths are the right range for me. I hoped for better quality from Foster Grant.

Good, but cheap frames always get damaged
FosterGrant needs to come out with a line of flexible, more abuse-resistant frames. These lenses work great, but the second you don't use a case the frames are falling apart. The readers I get from Costco with flexible frames are WAY better, and half the price.

So so
Unfortunately was not clear(pun) in multiple focus point at what level. And usually I tend to trust pricing, the price tag was still on it at 10 cheaper it seemed which urged me to compare. And I found the same pair at a local drug store at the same 10.00 cheaper. Lesson learn!

Damaged!!!
Very nice styling and well made but they arrived with both lenses scratched in the center so quality and styling aside they are useless, poor packaging.
