N173FGE-L23 Rec C1 & C3 17.3" HD (1600 x 900) Glossy Replacement Chi Mei LED LCD Screen (or compatible model)

It works perfectly I have a hp Pavilion n173fge-l23 and it fit and worked properly I was so satisfied with the product and I would like u to buy it but I found the same one for 70 dollars if anyone want it at Ifixit.com and it is very trusted

Our Lenovo G700 screen broke a month after we bought it (refurbished) and despite not abusing it or dropping it, not only did Lenovo make us pay for shipping to them ($25), but then denied that it was a warranty claim and then had the gall to quote us $300 to replace the screen! Unbelievable.I took apart the laptop and it showed that it was a Chimei N173FGE-L23 Rev C1 and so I ordered this one. Arrived on time with Prime and just got installed last night. Its not the exact model #, but IS an exact match. Colors were bright, no obvious stuck pixels (that I noticed - I'm sure there are some, but its not like its dead-center on the screen) and no complications (other than the time to get everything put back together). Note that the Brightness up and down works which is an issue with other screens that I researched.Presuming it continues to work this well, this is absolutely a 5 star product and a perfect replacement for my stock LCD. I'm sure I'll update this review if it breaks later, so you can assume that its still working barring any updates.

I purchased this after my Toshiba Satellite screen broke. At first, I thought the screen was a perfect match, but the quality is not as high as the screen that originally came with my laptop. I noticed after an hour or so that there were two dead pixels, and on top of that, when I set a desktop wallpaper to something that had a few colors, I noticed faint vertical lines that took up the whole screen. It's not noticeable at first glance, but when you really pay attention to it, you can't stop looking at it. I also had the same issue with a low-end Acer laptop that I used to own.The glossiness is great and the colors are vibrant, but if those faint lines and dead pixels weren't there, I would have rated this screen five stars.

I received the C2 instead of the C1 or C3 that this was listed as, but it worked great and the colors are as sharp as ever. I am always nervous when installing a replacement screen that is not an exact model number match but in this case I didn't have any problems with it. Still, I had to ding them for sending me a C2 when I ordered a C1, especially since the listing didn't specifically name C2 as a compatible screen.

Very easy to install (just keep up with screws that you have to take out of laptop) and noticed no difference from original screen. Life saver, as I am a college student and desperately need my computer. A month prior to this I paid $200 to have my laptop fixed but there was damage to the hinge and casing and they had to use epoxy. If there is no other damage to the laptop and you are familiar with the mechanics of taking apart and putting back together a laptop, this is honestly the cheapest way to go.

Worked as intended. Quality is comparable to OEM.

Couldnt be happier with this laptop screen. No issues at all. Works flawlessly. Would definitely recommend and will use them again.
