This set includes vintage knicker bottoms with a stationary pleated front waist band and an elastic back waistband for easier fit. The bottoms have a solid band with a button on the side and fit just below the knee. The shirt is a traditional long sleeve dress shirt with a lay-down collar. This pageboy cap is crafted with a small piece of elastic in the back of the hat for easier fit. This Knickerbocker outfit may contain small parts, and accordingly, it is not suitable for use by children unless under adult supervision. These outfits may also vary in dye lot from time to time. If you are ordering more than one for an event and need those to match in exact color pigment, please order at the same time.

Only get this for looks, if even that
And then spend literally the entire time adjusting it, because the suspenders do not work AT ALL. The clips have zero grip, so they keep falling off -- within seconds -- even when nothing, not even a little, is happening... Yet, the clips somehow manage to leave not-very-subtle indentations in the fabric, probably because the fabric is so thin. I could get another pair of suspenders, but that defeats the point of buying a set for both convenience and having everything match.Fabric is very lightweight, and is most irritating in the hat, which looks floppy, sloppy, and irregular (since it crumples unevenly) right around the face, so you see it all. the. time. However, the back of the pants are pretty bad, too, with enormous, messy, distracting folds all over the entire leg; like cling-wrap-starting-to-bunch-up messy. Material wrinkles, so there's only so much one can accomplish by ironing / steaming, and then hope that the kid isn't going to run around, squat, or otherwise put new wrinkles into it, which seems highly unlikely for the age bracket this is marketed for.Workmanship is not very good. Stitching is loose; you can already easily see the ladder of thread within a seam, holding it together -- in the high-stress areas, no less (crotch, the button flaps at the leg opening which help you get them on and off) -- so I'm not sure how long these will last.Hat shape looks less "pageboy" and more "taxi driver" to me, due to the harsh angle along the top front; it seems like that part was meant to be sewn down to the hat brim, but wasn't. There is also a 6-inch long elastic loop flapping out the back of it, the purpose of which I have yet to ascertain, but even if you put it under the hat, it comes out if the kid messes with the hat, as kids often do. It's sewn between the main fabric and the lining, so it's not easily removed.Unfortunately, I bought 2 of these, and the return period passed the day before I noticed. Really unhappy. Definitely not $40 items, when a big part of their appeal is non-functional (it doesn't really look the same without suspenders), and honestly, I don't get a lot of the corners that were cut. I'm a beginner sewist, so I ended up ordering fabric to sew my own pants after seeing the quality. My workmanship is better (more professional seam finishes inside, no loose stitches, no loose threads to cut anymore, interfacing in the waistband to add structure and hold up to being pulled on by suspenders), plus, I added pockets and a lining. I don’t say it to brag, but rather, to point out that it’s not that hard (this brings my grand total of completed items as a beginning and infrequent sewist to 4 in as many years) or time-consuming (I finished it in one night) to make it just a bit better. Granted, not everyone can or is inclined to sew their own clothes, but the choices the manufacturer made render this a one-time use, costume-y item, rather than real clothing.

Vintage Adorable
Bought this for my 2.5 year old's ringbearer outfit, and he probably got photographed more than the bride and groom! We did use a different hat that I already had, but the one it came with was cute as well, and has an elastic band holder, too. Maybe we'll get another use out of it at Halloween -- he could go as a newsie, or steampunk, or a Peaky Blinders-type thug, ha!

I love Victoria
This outfit is one of the cutest little outfits I have seen in a long time, I bought it for a photo shoot for my grandson, I love the Victorian Era, so I’m having a photo shoot with both of my Grandchildren, the little girl will wear a baby blue frilly dress with a big bow that I also bought on Amazon, and she will hold a lacy parisol, they will look so sweet,

Really cute!
The outfit came earlier than expected. Looks exactly as pictured and the quality seems fair. My son is 9 months old and within average range for height and weight. I purchased a size 12-18 months and it fits him great. It might be a tiny bit big, but not by much.

My 13 month old won Best Outfit in the Beautiful Baby Contest at the fair ...
My 13 month old won Best Outfit in the Beautiful Baby Contest at the fair with this outfit. It’s very well made & absolutely gorgeous. The 12/18 mo size fit him almost perfectly; the arm length was a tiny bit long but not really noticeably.
