Jebao/Jecod SCP-90 Cross Flow Pump Wavemaker with Controller Updated CP-25 (PET-SCP-90)

The media could not be loaded. Great gyre flow. The pulse function works and is fairly silent. The flow isn’t very random, just on / off. Will need a few more power heads in my 65 to generate randomness.Video show some algae had on the back glass for a while that i scraped off to get caught in my filters.

I can't say for longevity just yet as I just started using this wavemaker but I can say it is awesome right now. I have a 29g reef that I have had for 5 yrs or so and I have used 2 pumps or up to 4 at one point to make the perfect flow in a mixed reef. This one pump replaced all of them. It is super strong for my size tank so I have it as low as it will go on the random setting so it causes some chaotic flow but controlled at the same time. I have noticed it's a little loud as it ramps up but mine is in a bedroom tank and it's normally quiet but if the TV or anything else is on its not so loud to hear it over anything else but if all is quiet you will hear a sort of ramp up hum then back down. I had some other jebao units that made this sound for the first 2 months of their life also and eventually went away so I'm hoping this one does too.The controller is easy to use and has enough options to get what you need but not so many as to confuse the crap out of you so perfect. I will definitely purchase more for the bigger tank later in the future.

Easy to install and control, came with everything needed to run it. Perfect for my 50 gallon cube. I got the bigger size (the scp-150) for my 90 gallon and it’s a little powerful. I’m keeping that one turned down and it works fine but this size (Scp-90) probably would have worked great for my 90 gallon as well.

Sounded like it was binding up the moment I turned it on, ran for less that 5 minutes and froze up. Controller started flashing, I unplugged the power adapter from controller, plugged it back in and it arc-ed off. It was at that point I decided I should just spent the 100$ extra dollars on a Ice cap gyre.

I like it, for the 30 minutes that I've had it, but OMFG! The instructions. I'm pretty good at interpreting Chinese instructions, but these were translated into "English" by one Chinese guy, translated back into Mandarin by a second Chinese guy and then translated back into "English" by a third guy. Good luck!!!!! Lol.

Use this pump for my 75 gallon reef tank. Work well for the price. As for longevity only time would tell I run it for only 3 months now and still working.

i placed this in my 65 gallon tank and it, by default was a little too powerful, but i was able to adjust it down and it became the perfect addition to my tank.

Been using it for almost a month and it works great! Strong flow, affordable and doesn't let detritus settle on the bottom
