Better than expected! Within 20 minutes of running it the air smelled fresher and my stuffy nose wasn’t as stuffy. We have a cat, which I am allergic to so this has been amazing. I woke up the next morning after the first all night cycle and my usual congestion was about 60% reduced. I NEVER EVER NEVER EVER buy used things. I purchased the “used” ones but they were brand new or refurbished extremely well. I figured if they suck I won’t be out the money. Boy am I glad I did. Folks, just buy the damn thing. It’s beautiful, sleek, quiet in the low modes and does what it says it does. What more could you ask for? I’m going to buy a few more and add some to my salon. I bought a two pack on the Amazon Black Friday deals with Amazon. Reviews were good so thought I’d give them a try. Received in a nice box. I use one in the living room, and one at the end of my hallway. Purifier sits between my bedroom door and my daughters. Before using, I decided to try one due to having a cough I developed from our dog Roxy’s hair dander. Never thought about it until I mentioned it to my PCP. He said it could be from that. That is the reason I got the two pack. It runs 24/7. I run them both on the 3rd mode not the highest one. Had them for a month and a half. Apparently it is working. I no longer have the cough. I try and clean the filter and unit once a week I vacuum the filter as well to help it per the instructions. As for noise, I thought it was a little loud when we first started running them. But after a few days I was use to it and honestly didn’t notice it any more. Wasn’t loud at all. So far, I hav e been pleased with them both. May get 2 more to have in each of our bedrooms. I like the idea of the air being filtered.

Even though there is a sleep mode, the other modes are really rather quiet, too, and wouldn't distract from watching TV or listening to music. The sleep mode is almost soothing, though, much like white noise. The design is well done because air purifiers of old had complicated multi-piece filters that were tricky to unload. In the case of this one, it is on the bottom and the removal of a simple panel grants access. The filter is a smartly-designed single piece, which is convenient, and it snaps easily into place because it is the shape of the unit itself rather than having to fit into some designated slot. It's been effective in our bedroom and den, both areas the cats heavily inhabit and also in a den where we've had a ton of dust due to construction. My only suggestion would be that while the power button cycles through the various speeds, you have to hold down the power button for a few seconds to turn it off whereas the next mode simply could have been to cycle to "off", or perhaps not require as much time to power it off.

I got this a couple of months ago, and the one thing I have noticed is I am not dusting as much as I use to also, it just feels better. There is a night mode and its ridiculously quiet in that mode, you have to put your hand over it to see if it's working, but warning, I don't think it is working as efficiently as it would when it's on a high or med mode. You can hear it when it's in those modes, but it does not bother me because I like white noise.I do have a roommate; his name is Rosco lol, and my house does not smell like him anymore; girlfriend happy about that, but she does not blame it on Rosco lol.All in all, I think this was a good investment they have been on for a couple of months nonstop, I do not turn them off, and when I clean the filters it was unreal I can't believe that was in the air.Get this your lungs, and nouse will thank you.

These hepa air filters are great! I put one in my living room and another in my bedroom because I recently adopted a cat and wanted to keep the air free of allergens. My roommate is slightly allergic (sniffles and runny nose) but she has had no allergic reactions (it’s been 4 days since we brought the kitten into the home). Not only are there no reactions to the kitten but also the quality of the air in the room has noticeably improved. It is much less dusty smelling which is great because the pollution and dust from the city definitely comes in from the windows. My room is a medium sized square shaped room around 12’x10’ and my living room is about the same.

I have the purifier set in my bedroom. The "sleep" mode is very quiet, I can barely hear it. Since I've turned it on, I've started noticing that there's less dust in the air. Fundamentally it's a very basic device - sucks air in, runs it through a filter, pushes it out. So in that regard the purifier works very well.It also has a high-power mode. I turned it on for a few hours after vacuuming to gather all the dust. It's much noisier but the airflow is strong.I am much more impressed with this than I was with a purifier I got from Best Buy.

These are great! I was waking up all stuffed up in the mornings. Wasn't sure if from mold(my home had a previous mold issue) or from my animals(I have 3 rabbits and an indoor chicken in one of the bedrooms. I've had these running, one in my bedroom and one in the animal room and it has eliminated the animal smells and I have not been stuffed up waking up in the mornings so they deff work! They have a few fan settings. I keep them on full blast. It's a great background noise to sleep too also!
