Let’s start out with a few disclaimers: I purchased this for a Han Solo cosplay not hunting or anything like that. His “screen accurate” vest runs $50+ and I saved a boat load of money on this. It’s close enough for my taste to the original. I am a female and this is for men. I am 5’9 and 140 lbs and the small fit me exactly how I wanted it to.The different compartments were life saving at my event. It held my iPhone 8, canon vixia mini and batteries, lipstick and there was still loads of room left for more.I wore this to a local event as a casual Han Solo (not pictured is my blaster, holster and chewy) and got many compliments on my female Han cosplay.If you are looking for a “good enough” vest without breaking the bank. I STRONGLY suggest this

As others have written, this runs fairly small. Also, it's made for men, and I'm a woman! That said, I decided I did not really care about zipping it shut, and I got what I wanted out of it: lots and lots of pockets! I was able to put all my money, travel documents, passport, cellphone, pocket tissue, and so forth, in various pockets. When I got to security, I just popped it off to stick on the conveyor belt, then popped it back on. Much, much easier than using a fanny pack, as I have been doing for years.

When considering to purchase this vest I looked through the reviews and saw many many people crying about the inaccurate sizing of this product and posting terrible reviews because of it... Enough of that guys,...... If anyone else is inclined to write a terrible review solely based on inaccurate sizing, please, DON'T!There are plenty of great quality products out there that simply need to be ordered one size larger due to Asian sizing.. BIG DEAL, GET OVER IT! This product has free returns anyway, so it's not really a big deal.I went through piles of those reviews trying to find general comments of quality, look, practical design, etc... So my review is based on this. The only comment I say on the sizing, in my experience, ONE size larger than you'd normally get will do it.. That's it... My 3 star review has nothing to do with the size... If size was my only complaint I would reorder and continue to live.My complaints:#1 - Color description is inaccurate... "Charcoal" is not even close to "Charcoal".. It's forest/army type of green. After looking again, closely, with full brightness, I can see they actually did show a picture of the green it comes out to be but it should not be called "Charcoal".#2 - Quality... This is the biggy.... Stitching is already coming loose after one weekend's use. Thus I don't feel comfortable reordering this same product due to this...I ended up ordering two sizes larger because a friend had large and I would normally wear a size larger than him so I got XL... I normally wear Med and should have just gotten the large... So, again, my only suggestion for sizing, get one size larger and you should be good.. If I did not have the two noted complaints above, I would have simply returned and re-ordered a large and posted a 5 star review..The practicality of this vest is great, great size/amount of pockets.

I am comfortable in size XL, but after reading the reviews saying it is cut small I ordered 2XL and it fits perfectly as an XL. Very light weight with several pockets. I use it as my cover garment for IDPA and it serves that purpose well. When zipped up it even adds a little extra warmth in the early morning chill. A great buy!

Read the reviews, check the chart, take measurements, and be honest with yourself, you'll have a better time of it.That being said, onward to the product, shall we?I have say this product was... So close, but just fell short enough to comment on.Quality seems all around good, with secure stitching and quality fabric. After a month and a half at work, holding up against brush, brambles, barbed wire, hot sparks and sharp metal, every stitch is still holding strong. Despite a few tiny snags, no holes, rips or burns.Held up through two washings so far that were decidedly NOT the proper method, so despite the fact that it calls for a cold wash and low heat dry, it survived two hot wash and dry cycles, with minimal deformation and no damage. It truth, it actually fits better now, it just looks a little crumpled in spots.The fabric itself was a minor issue for me. The product description lists this as being a 50/50 poly cotton blend. The product I got was 100% nylon. This disappointed me a bit, as I live in the american south east, and that 100% nylon blend absolutely does NOT breathe well, nor does it wick moisture. I can already tell I won't be able to wear this come the summer. On the other hand, it is perfect for our briswaywinter" weather. My secondary concern was the flammability and melting of nylon, but this doesn't seem to be much of an issue. I still would have preferred the advertised poly cotton blend.From here on out, most of my complaints are aesthetic. Things I would have done differently. A second pen sleeve on the right breast and a third on the left would have gotten this vest closer to perfect, for my needs any way.I don't know why, but I thought based on the images that the tab on the right breast pocket was another pocket. I thought it was useless at first, then I tried to put my phone in that pocket. It helps when you have thick, grippy rubber case.Paradoxically, the fabric is still slippery enough that I actually have to use the button or Velcro to keep my phone from slipping out when I bend. Odd, and a bit of an annoyance really. It takes two hands to get a phone into the right pocket, and the tiny snap on the left is difficult to find, especially in awkward positions. Its also a very soft catching snap. Hard to tell when its fully in place, and it does come loose at times. Its a bit worrisome.Long story short (too late) I like the product, despite a few... Not flaws, per say, but shortfalls and unexpected differences, that keep this vest from being perfect. I already plan on getting a few more, for the price they're worth it, and yes, I would recommend it to a friend. In the interest of full disclosure, I was not compensated for this review and I purchased the vest at full price.EDIT 3/12/17: odd note, touch screens will work through the fabric if it is damp or sweaty, so lock your screen or expect butt dialing.Also, if you want to keep it looking nice, deal with any stains quickly. They will set in quick.
