The book itself is a hardback but has a lovely soft feel covering that makes it a delight to hold and the larger text makes it much easier to read. The absence of notes and interpretations keep ones mind focused on the teaching of Jesus as retold down the centuries and encourages one to think more deeply. Distinct from a New Testament which contains all of the elaborate thinkings of Paul and the other later thinkers which I find completely lead the message of Jesus very astray. With this slim volume you have in your hands the only source of the teaching that Jesus gave. You will enjoy this book.

I'm not Catholic, but I've been very impressed by this version so far!1* The NRSV is quite similar to the ESV, which is popular among Evangelicals (They're both descendants of the RSV).2* If the apocrypha offends you, you don't *have* to read it. However, it's there, and it doesn't bite!3* The typesetting and font size are great. The binding is a great value!

I love the case it comes in. I feel like it protects my bible kind of since its soft leather. So packing it up is very easy and it's safe. I think its the best Catholic bible one can get abroad cuz back in Africa we have our own. Since I couldn't find it, I settled for this but it's great. I think it's cute too, if cute could be associated to a bible. It has gotten me to study the word more cuz when I just see it, I'm like read it. Language too is understandable. Top notch yo 👌 👏 👍 😎

The media could not be loaded.  Pages are extremely thin and seem somewhat delicate, and takes a bit of getting used to.Nothing was damaged upon arrival. Text size is great, and cover quality and the packaging was excellent.
