Best Selling Modern Leather Round Back Chair, White

This is a really fun chair... retro and modern at the same time. This chair seems to be manufactured under a few different brand names, as I have seen it on other sites with the same legs and seam patterns. Even though the photo on this listing didn't show the rear of the chair, I knew that it most likely had the same large zipper that was shown on other sites and in fact, it did. It wasn't a deal-breaker for me for the price I paid ($160 after discounts) but I thought I should mention it. See the photos I posted. I would have loved it if there was no zipper but it's okay.The chair is fairly comfortable but it isn't plush. You don't sink into it or anything like that. I'm not sure how well the leather will stand up over time but I will update my review if I ever have any problems down the road. In person, the chair is not quite as pure white as it appears in the listing photo. But it isn't cream colored either. I would say it is more white than cream for sure though.The chrome legs are bright and fairly flawless. I would have liked for the bottom of the feet to be softer so they didn't scratch the wood floors, so I put my own foam protectors on the bottom of the four feet.Assembly was easy. There were only four parts in a single large box: the legs, the post, the chair, and a seat cushion.Overall, I like this chair a lot for the price.

So far so good. It looks very nice as long as you don't mind the zippered seam bisects the bottom/back of the chair from front to back.It is leather. I found a fuller description of this chair on a website that says it is "corrected grain" leather. That would be leather that has the surface sanded down and then imprinted with a leather grain texture. I hope this is truly what it is. The leather is super-thin--new manufacturing techniques can yield up to 4 layers of leather from of a single hide.Some leather products are also made out of "reconstituted" leather. They'll make a mush of leather fibers and then adhere them to cloth. There's also "bicast" leather, which is a very thin layer of leather which is used for backing only. The surface is a thicker layer of polyurethane embossed to look like leather.Given the thinness of the leather, and the fact that it does not have a leather smell, I suspect this may be bicast leather. I unzipped it to get access to the back of the leather and it is rough out, but I could not swear that it is natural leather. The lack of leather smell is suspicious, but a lot of lower quality leather uses tanning techniques that do not yield that delicious leather aroma.That said, it is a very stylish and quite comfortable chair.We've only had it for a week. If it does not perform well over the coming year I will update the review and let y'all know.

Ok, many reviews complained that it wasn't white/white but more of an off white. THAT'S NOT TRUE!! WHITE LEATHER CAN NEVER BE COMPARED TO WHITE COTTEN, for example.....It' animal hide. It won't dye the same, however, my base boards are WHITE and they look the very same. I have very sensitive tastes and perception towards colors....So, there you have it....It will be as white as white leather can get. NOW, faux leather can be mild white....but again, this chair looks white, very white to me.....Hope that helps, folks! Don't be afraid to order and enjoy this chair.

This is a very comfortable chair, which was exceedlingly easy to assemble. It arrived within just a few days. I only ordered one chair to see the quality. The "leather" seems to be a plastic leather with a uniformly pebbled surface. I had hoped to use this in a living room; however, the appearance of the "leather" is not good enough. If the chair were made in real leather, I would have ordered two of them. I hope that the manufacturer will take heed. I called the company to ask if a higher quality option existed, and they had no record of my purchase. Customer service was surprised to find that (via the FedEx tracking number) that it had been shipped from Nevada rather than California where their warehouse is located. Baffling. Customer service was polite and diligent, but ultimately unable to help.

Moved into a modern condo and my two chairs I had did not fit in at all. Every chair I found was very expensive but located these chairs on Amazon which had the lowest price of any on line site for under $#200. each. I was concerned what the quality would be on arrival but to my surprise for the price they are great chairs.

Love the chairs. They are as described. Only the color is not as white as I would have liked,Next to my white leather couch it looks off white.

Very easy to put together. Not the most comfy chair in the world, but definitely comfortable and supporting for the 10-15 minutes a day I sit in it (it's in our dressing room). I have no idea whether the leather is from a cow or a laboratory, but I don't really care. It looks great, feels fine and seems like it will hold up well to moderate use. At its price point and with its excellent design, the chair is a winner.

Its adorable! VERY well-placed and goes together in 2 minutes. Real leather/not real leather? Who cares? It's not an investment piece at this price. Just enjoy it.I did spray it with Scotchgard before using since it IS WHITE and color transfer may happen.
