Compact, standard ball mount allows sway damper adapter
I love the compactness of this design. I needed 9" of rise so I bought the 12" model. I actually cut 1" off the top so I could have it in place on my 2007 Ford F250 without it hitting my tailgate (when lowered). I also wanted to use my sway damper adapter plate and this is the only product I liked that supports an off the shelf ball. I had to trim my sway damper adapter a little to make it fit but because of this there is absolutely no play in it. My only complaint is that the ball will not lock in place in the stow position (ball reversed) because the holes that the lock protrudes into were not drilled on the front side.

Nice hitch, but questionable fitment
The design of this hitch is nice, it looks sleek and did come with a locking hitch pin and dual ball. It is simple to use and seems to be heavy duty. My only complaint would be, as others have mentioned, the fit is extremely loose in the trucks reciever, it has alott of side to side motion and up and down movement. I believe these hitches should be manufactured a little more true to size on the shank, as running small and providing a loose fit seems to be a common complaint for everyone.

Heavy Duty but a little sloppy
After pulling my new cargo trailer back from Georgia (1000mi), I can say that I'm a little disappointed in the amount of play between the vertical portion and the piece the ball mounts too. With technology today and fitments becoming increasingly tighter, the amount of play in this seems to be exaggerated. Just driving with it on my truck empty, to pick up the trailer, the weight of the ball removed most of the paint where it sat. I would prefer if this was available w/o paint, as it will so be anyway, with an reduced clearances for improved fitment. A simple bolt on the back above or below the lock adjustment would also eliminate the play in the hitch.I did like the fact that the hitch came with a pin that used the same key.On a good note, this is only one of a few products that was 10k rated and 12" drop. It turned out I only needed about an 8" drop but better safe than sorry. My next trailer might not be as tall.I would also like to see options available for this since it is so simple to swap the ball. It would be nice to order this leveler bar mounts, sway bar mounts, or pintle hitch.

Great hitches
Love these things. Had a 6 drop, but then lifted truck and needed a longer drop for some trailers. One thing of note which is if you are going to leave on the truck all the time, be sure to lube both locking pins, as they will rust and become hard to move or not removal-able at all. Good news is sawzall and cheap bi-metal blade cuts through locking pin on stub in no time.

Other than that it works great for my lifted truck and im happy with it
As others mentioned, the hitch is fairly loose. There's play both in the reciever as well as in the part with the ball that attaches to the drop part. The lock pin also does not fit my hitch (2014 Ram 2500). Other than that it works great for my lifted truck and im happy with it.

Expect cosmedic issues, OK product for the pirce.
Expect to get your hitch with chipping and scratches from loose metal parts banging into each other in transit. For the price the drop hitch is a good option to pulling anything under 10K lbs. Wish there was less slop in the overall assembly to.

One tough hitch! Highly recommend!
This is one tough drop hitch. There is a dip at the front of my drive and the hitch drags (a lot), nothing I can do until the dip gets filled and this hitch takes a licking and keeps on going.
