STABILicersRun Traction Cleats for Running on Snow and Ice

I have a pair. I bought this pair for my granddaughter who has to work no matter what the weather. I feel good knowing she’ll be safe.

Works great in snow and ice. Was difficult to put on and takeoff boots.

The media could not be loaded. See my attached video. My typical daily run is ~5.5 or ~7.5 miles depending on how much time I have. I run along the lake-from trail in Hyde Park, Chicago. Days like today, ~15 degrees, sunny morning - sidewalks leading from my home to the trail were mixed - some clear and dry, some areas, with patches of ice. On the trail - some of it I need to run on the pavement - again, a mix of ice conditions, and some, on icy snow. I'm using the STABILices size M, over Merrell's Bare Access XRT Shield size 7.5. I initially ordered the S size, but I could not fit it over the soles. If you use Astra's, I doubt the STABILicers will fit, because of the Altra's wide toe box (does not fit my Lone Peak 4.5 size 75.) -- Running experience is great, for me - I do not run fast, especially not in icy conditions. They feel good over pavement and over the icy snow. Most importantly, they don't slip, and I feel very secure. The cleats are large and flat and so far - don't show any sign of breaking, and I did not loose any. Really great product, and if you run in the winder in similar conditions, and slipping on ice worries you, give them a try. I'm glad I found them.

Purchased these puppies since I work in a freezer. The floor gets covered in snow and ice from our Cnc machine. These keep me from sliding around and holding traction while walking. The rubber covers my boot and actually helps keep some of the cold from penetrating the tips of my leather boots. Excellent purchase.

Once you find the right fit, and add some extra lace to hold them tight to your shoes, these are the absolute best for running. I wear them on solid ice trails and streets during Maine winters, and have never slipped. Outstanding traction. At 6' 2" and 200lbs I put a beating on these things, so they only last a season or two, hence the 4 star review. The sole is very durable, but the heel rubber casing tends to fray over time. Overall, great product once you find your fit and add some lace to adhere to your kicks!!

I would not recommend this product at all so I don't want to give it any stars. I was very disappointed when the strap broke after a couple of weeks. Also, the shape of them seemed fashioned for a more pointed toe instead of the rounded toe of my running shoes. I wear a size 10 women's shoe and my STABILicers were a large.

Pay attention to size.. they seem to be sized way small. after i sorted out my sizing returning a to small pair, they worked perfectly.. Nice and stable on my shoes. Im not a runner but use them for shoveling snow our my icy driveway.. Recommended..

I purchased these for running outside on Snow Packed Roads and somewhat Ice-covered at times. These worked amazingly! I had no traction issues and these gave an extra security and balance when running outside in the winter. Would definitely recommend them!
