Comparison of Bracoo and Thermoskin Wrist Wraps - UPDATE
Update: After fewer than 10 days wearing the Thermoskin wrist wrap, the wrap stretched enough that it kept slipping down and no longer held my wrist stable. It won't do the job and I will have to buy a "real" ugly, black, big wrist wrap that holds the wrist in place and won't slip down. The Bracoo slipped down worse than the Thermoskin and is useless now. You get what you pay for and I'll be buying a "real" wrist wrap today.I bought two wrist wraps for comparison, the Bracoo for $6.99 and the Thermoskin for $16.98. I have a pinched nerve running from an inch below the inside of my wrist to the tip of my thumb. It fires off an electric shock if I twist my left wrist to the left so I wanted a wrist wrap that would stabilize my wrist. Both wraps offer very light wrist support. Both are comfortable to wear and they initially gave me enough wrist support to do Pilates and most activities. My wrist moves up and down about half-way and side to side about half-way too. That level of support works for me but may not be sufficient for other injuries. Both wraps need to be rewrapped numerous times during the day to keep the wrist stable but it's quickly done. The Bracoo has no thumb support and the thumb can easily move around through a larger thumb hole. The Thermoskin has just a little thumb support with a smaller thumb hole but you can still move your thumb all around towards your fingers with just a little effort. (I also have a Thermoskin thumb brace which works very well to keep your thumb immobile.)The Bracoo is made for a smaller hand and wrist and it lays flat against the back of my hand. I have a 6โ wrist and a 7-3/4โ hand in its widest part. The Thermoskin often gaps on the back of my hand and I must carefully rewrap it to get rid of the gap which is noticeable to others, particularly because the inside fabric is bright orange. Functionally, the gap doesnโt seem to make any difference. The Bracoo is very stretchy and, after 8 or 9 days, it slipped down more. The Velcro tab sticks to the fabric of the wrap so there is no Velcro patch sewn onto the wrap itself. In contrast, the Thermoskin tab sticks to a large patch of Velcro sewn onto the wrap fabric. Because the stitching goes through the wrap, the wrap is far less stretchy. The Thermoskin is a thicker material so it slips less but is not perfect.I like that both wraps come in colors that are less noticeable. I got the Bracoo in light gray and the Thermoskin in beige. I prefer the beige color but I initially liked the Bracoo better because it was more comfortable, particularly at night. I cannot wear the Bracoo now because it doesn't support my wrist at all unless I tighten it so much that it hurts the pinched radial nerve on the side of my wrist. The Thermoskin is barely doing the job.

Best Wrist Wrap
I have been doing cardiac ultrasound for 18 years and after seeing the workmen's comp doctors and physical therapist, have started to support my wrist in an attempt to prevent carpal tunnel from developing. I have used several different wrist wraps and the Thermoskin is by far the best. It is also the easiest to get on and off and it actually does warm the area it covers. It gives me very good wrist support. Thermoskin feels good. I have been through several in the last few years. Thermoskin wrist wraps maintain their support the longest of any wrist wrap I have tried. I use Thermoskin when I go to the gym too. I get 6 months minimum out of a Thermoskin wrap. Great product and I highly recommend it! Oh, and the price is excellent on amazon!

Very useful, and reasonably priced
After buying one of these universal wrist wraps at my occupational therapistโs office and loving it, I was thrilled to find the identical item on Amazon at a more reasonable price. I have a combination of chronic conditions, including carpal tunnel syndrome and rheumatoid arthritis, in both hands/wrists, and these wraps really do help to give support and reduce the kinds of movements that result in pain. I bought several, so that I can wash them when needed while still having a clean one to wear. Iโm very happy with this purchase!

easy to put on
This wrap has really helped control my over use pain when interpreting in sign language. It's skin color so not too distracting, easy to put on, and adjustable tightness. The one thing I don't care for is that part that wraps across your hand can bunch out if you don't wrap it just right.

Great for working outside
Great for working outside, raking, shoveling snow or just doing a lot of lifting if you get pain in hands and wrists. I purchased my first pair about 10 years ago. They even wash up great in the washing machine and I even throw them in the dryer. I even purchased a pair for my hubby recently when I bought my new pair.

Not worth it.
I don't like this wrap. First off, the price is very high, and secondly you only get one. Not only that, the wrap itself isn't very comfortable and offers very little support unless you wrap it really tightly. I would return it, but I threw away the packaging already.

Quality Product
This item fits well due to its adjustability. It is flexible which allows me to use my upper extremity throughout the day without being restrained from certain activities. The material is a great quality which has held up through normal activities of daily living.

Great support for mouse use & driving
I've used one of these for years on my right wrist after carpal tunnel decompression surgery left that hand a bit weakened. Great support for mouse use and strengthens my wrist while driving. I've found that it helps prevent repetitive strain. I do cut off the thumb wrap part and leave it as a simple wraparound strip.

Give good support
This was quickly dispatched - next day delivery. The wrap gives me ideal support for my wrist when carrying out repetitive actions (dusting, computer work etc) or lifting / moving heavy items. It is comfortable to wear and the velcro fastening means the tightness can be adjusted. My wrist measures 15cms and the medium size with its large strip of velcro fits perfectly.

Wrist Wrap
I ordered this for the wife, after having tried many others. She found it to be simpler to put on and alot softer feeling. I think the seams of some other designs were rubbing too, but this design proved to be alot more comfortable. She also found it easier to carry out workaday tasks with this less cumbersome brace. Overall; good.
